<p><p><b>About the Role :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) to lead and mentor a team of software engineers.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving technical excellence, delivering scalable and robust products, and collaborating cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders.
You will balance hands-on coding (if required) with strategic leadership, ensuring high-quality deliverables, timely execution, and a culture of innovation within your team.</p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities & Team Management :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of MERN stack developers (frontend, backend, and full-stack engineers).<br/><br/></p><p>- Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and help team members with career & Execution :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Collaborate with product and business teams to translate requirements into technical deliverables.<br/><br/></p><p>- Plan, prioritize, and manage sprint cycles, ensuring timely delivery of features.<br/><br/></p><p>- Drive process improvements for CI/CD, testing, and release Expertise :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Deep hands-on experience with MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, GraphQL, and cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Solid understanding of system design, scalability, performance optimization, and :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).<br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure to serverless architecture.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience scaling engineering teams in a startup or hyper-growth environment.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
