<p><p><b>Job Description : </b> AI Architect<br/><br/><b>Role : </b> AI Architect<br/><br/><b>Job Location : </b> Remote (Occasional travel to Chennai)<br/><br/><b>Experience : </b> 10+ years<br/><br/><b>About the Role : </b><br/><br/>We are looking for a AI Architect to lead the design, architecture, and development of cutting-edge, scalable, and resilient cloud-native systems.<br/><br/>In this high-impact role, you will help define the technical roadmap, build core platforms, and integrate AI/ML capabilities into enterprise-scale solutions.<br/><br/>You will work closely with cross-functional teams and lead the technical execution of strategic initiatives from inception to deployment.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Architect, build, and scale cloud-native platforms and backend systems.<br/><br/>- Lead end-to-end development and deployment of high-performance, distributed applications.<br/><br/>- Design and implement secure, scalable, and reliable APIs and microservices.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate machine learning models and Generative AI components into production systems.<br/><br/>- Drive DevOps best practices, Infrastructure as Code (IAC), and CI/CD processes.<br/><br/>- Act as a technical mentor and guide for engineering teams, promoting best practices in design, code quality, and architecture.<br/><br/>- Solve complex production issues, including debugging and performance optimization.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Qualifications : </b><br/><br/>- 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong background in cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure acceptable).<br/><br/>- Proficient in Python (preferred) or any modern object-oriented language.<br/><br/>- Strong expertise in designing and building APIs, microservices, and scalable backend systems.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.<br/><br/>- Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases.<br/><br/>- Experience working with Machine Learning, Generative AI, or Transformer-based models in production environments.<br/><br/>- Excellent problem-solving, system design, and debugging skills.<br/><br/>- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Qualifications : </b><br/><br/>- Exposure to React, Angular, or other frontend frameworks.<br/><br/>- Contributions to open-source AI or cloud-native projects.<br/><br/>- Experience working in a startup or high-growth product company.<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
