<p><p><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Report to the manager of Platform Support with the ability to interface with multi-disciplinary teams<br/><br/></p><p>- Serve as an escalation point for Junior members and other cross-functional teams.<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to proprietary technologies, computer systems, software, and hardware.<br/><br/></p><p>- Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners<br/><br/></p><p>- Facilitate infrastructure and product-related tasks<br/><br/></p><p>- Manage assigned tasks contributing to Platform level projects<br/><br/></p><p>- Work to continuously develop expertise within key areas of technical operations<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide off hours on-call support as needed by following an assigned calendar<br/><br/></p><p>- Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of API proxies using Apigee Edge or Apigee X<br/><br/></p><p>- Support integration of APIs with backend services and third-party applications<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in API design reviews and help ensure best practices for RESTful APIs<br/><br/></p><p>- Help document API configurations, proxy flows, and error handling logic<br/><br/><b>Requirements : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- 5+ years experience in systems administration / DevOps Role<br/><br/></p><p>- Working knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu / Red Hat / CentOS are our preferred distributions) and windows Server operating systems and Microsoft Internet information server<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with common scripting languages (Bash and Groovy preferred)<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with common editors (Vim or Emacs)<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience managing and maintaining web servers (e.g. Nginx, IIS, Tomcat, Apache, Glassfish)<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in DNS Administration (e.g. A, CNAME, MX, TXT)<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience working with SSL Certificate Enrollment Processes<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with VMWare VSphere<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with RESTful API concepts and HTTP methods<br/><br/></p><p>- Basic knowledge of API management platforms (Apigee preferred)<br/><br/></p><p>- Must Self-Directed, Self-sufficient, self-motivated and reliable to work with minimal oversight<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent verbal and written communication skills<br/><br/></p><p>- Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and relentlessly prioritize<br/><br/></p><p>- Working knowledge of Linux and Windows servers is a plus<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to work an assigned US ET or PT shift</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
