This Position reports to:

IS Global Infra Identity and Access Management Engineer ABB Robotics

Are you passionate about securing digital identities and enabling seamless access across global platforms?

Join our Robotics IS team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of identity infrastructure for a hybrid workforce spanning 50 countries and 150 sites.

As an Identity and Access Management Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and compliant identity solutions that support our global operations.

Your responsibilities
Design and maintain identity lifecycle workflows including joiner, mover, and leaver processes
Implement and manage SSO, MFA, and federation protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID
Administer and support on-premises Active Directory and Azure AD environments
Manage enterprise PKI systems including certificate issuance, renewal, and revocation
Support privileged access management solutions and ensure auditability across systems

In addition to these core responsibilities, you will integrate IAM with HR systems, ITSM platforms, and cloud services, enforce RBAC and ABAC models, and collaborate with InfoSec on governance and compliance.

You will also maintain logs and reports for access events, certificate usage, and directory health, and support internal audits and external compliance assessments.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of identity, security, and infrastructure, supporting critical cloud services and digital products across our Robotics business.

You will engage with line managers, application managers, project leaders, and business stakeholders to deliver secure and efficient identity solutions.

The position is global.

The preferred locations are Poland, India, Spain, Italy, Sweden and China.

Your background:

5 to 7 years of experience in IAM, CIAM, directory services, or security engineering
Strong expertise in Azure AD, Active Directory, and hybrid identity configurations
Hands-on experience with PKI and certificate lifecycle management
Familiarity with IAM platforms such as Okta, Keycloak, or Clear Skyke
Proven ability to manage complex identity integrations across legacy and modern platforms

Your background
5–10 years of experience in cybersecurity, including a minimum of 3 years in a SecOps or SOC leadership role
Proven expertise in SIEM platforms such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel
Hands-on experience with EDR/XDR tools like Defender for Endpoint and strong knowledge of network protocols and forensic techniques
Familiarity with threat modeling frameworks including MITRE ATT&CK and the cyber kill chain
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple incidents under pressure
Relevant certifications such as GCIA, GCIH, CISSP, or CEH are highly desirable
