<p><p><b>About the Role :</b><br/><br/>We are seeking a skilled and passionate OpenStack Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team.<br/><br/>As an OpenStack Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our OpenStack cloud infrastructure.<br/><br/>You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud environment, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our cloud services.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/><b>OpenStack Deployment and Management :</b><br/><br/>- Deploy, configure, and maintain OpenStack components (Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone, Glance, etc.)<br/><br/>- Design and implement scalable and resilient OpenStack architectures.<br/><br/>- Automate OpenStack deployments and operations using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar.<br/><br/>- Monitor OpenStack health and performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively.<br/><br/><b>Network and Storage Management :</b><br/><br/>- Configure and manage virtual networks, including VLANs, subnets, and security groups.<br/><br/>- Implement and manage storage solutions using Cinder, including block storage and object storage.<br/><br/>- Optimize network and storage performance.<br/><br/><b>Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution :</b><br/><br/>- Troubleshoot and resolve complex OpenStack issues.<br/><br/>- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.<br/><br/>- Provide technical support to internal teams and users.<br/><br/><b>Automation and Scripting :</b><br/><br/>- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.<br/><br/>- Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency.<br/><br/>- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.<br/><br/><b>Documentation and Knowledge Sharing :</b><br/><br/>- Create and maintain detailed documentation for OpenStack deployments and configurations.<br/><br/>- Share knowledge and best practices with team members.<br/><br/>- Contribute to the development of internal knowledge base articles.<br/><br/><b>Continuous Improvement :</b><br/><br/>- Stay up-to-date with the latest OpenStack releases and features.<br/><br/>- Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to improve our cloud infrastructure.<br/><br/>- Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning.<br/><br/><b>Qualifications :</b><br/><br/><b>Essential :</b><br/><br/>- 3+ years of experience in OpenStack administration and engineering.<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of OpenStack architecture and components.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in Linux system administration.<br/><br/>- Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform).<br/><br/>- Experience with network and storage management.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments.<br/><br/>- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.<br/><br/>- Strong communication and collaboration skills.<br/><br/>- Bachelor's/mater's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
