<p><p><br/><b>Job Title :</b> Software Developer - Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, FreePBX Voice platforms.<br/><br/><b>Job Summary :</b><br/><br/>We are seeking a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in development, implementation of FreeSWITCH and Asterisk platforms.<br/><br/>The software developer is responsible for designing architecture, deploying solution, implementation of SIP interconnects with Service Providers and serving as the subject matter expert within the organization.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/><b>Design and Development :</b><br/><br/>- Design code for Voice Services and implement voice integration using FreeSWITCH and Asterisk platforms.<br/><br/>- Configure and optimize WebRTC for seamless voice communication in web interfaces and applications.<br/><br/>- Develop and implement SIP trunk configurations with Telecom Service Providers and 3rd party solution / infrastructure components.<br/><br/>- Build contact center features, including call routing, IVR, call recording, reporting and call logs/ CDRs.<br/><br/><b>Deployment and Maintenance :</b><br/><br/>- Implement , Configure FreeSWITCH and Asterisk IP-PBX systems in the virtualised environment in Ishan's Cloud.<br/><br/>- Implement monitoring, alerting tools, conduct O& M activities to ensure production systems are always healthy.<br/><br/>- Provide support to CFTs / other teams for incident management as subject matter expert.<br/><br/>- Keep abreast of industry trends and technology advancements to recommend and implement improvements.<br/><br/>- Collaboration and Support: o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software improvements and enhancements.<br/><br/>- Conduct code reviews, ensure code quality, and follow best practices in software development.<br/><br/>- Provide documentation and support during and after the integration phase.<br/><br/><b>Qualifications :</b><br/><br/>- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunications.<br/><br/>- Proven experience of 5+ years software development for FreeSWITCH or Asterisk development, including configuration and 3rd party solution integration.<br/><br/>- Python Twisted, Pyside / QML, pip,.<br/><br/><b>Networks :</b><br/><br/>- TCP/IP, NAT/PAT, HTTP(s), DNS.<br/><br/>- Telephony Platform FreeSWITCH, OpenSIPS, Asterisk, Kamailio, RTPEngine.<br/><br/>- Experience as Linux system administration.<br/><br/>- Ability to integrate MySQL and other databases with IP-PBX for reports.<br/><br/>- Prior exposure to CTI, IVR, or any agent desktop application.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of Contact Center technologies, Automated Call Distribution, Intelligent Routing will be preferred.<br/><br/>- Experience in Strong knowledge of WebRTC and its integration with VoIP systems and web applications.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in SIP, SDP, RTP,WebRTC protocols and VoIP infrastructure.<br/><br/>- Experience with integrating communication platforms using APIs and SDKs.<br/><br/>- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with containers and automation/orchestration tools such as Docker, Ansible, Jenkins.<br/><br/><b>Experience :</b><br/><br/>- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in FreeSWITCH or Asterisk development and deployment.<br/><br/><b>Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.<br/><br/>- Ability to work independently in a challenging environment with minimal supervision.<br/><br/>- Self -motivated for the development of use cases, features etc<br/><br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
