This critical role involves designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions that streamline IT operations, enhance reliability, and improve scalability across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Create and manage scripts for : Active Directory (user/group management, GPOs, security settings), DNS & DHCP management.
Develop custom automation tools using Python, PowerShell, and Bash to support various infrastructure needs.<br/><br/><b>- Virtualization & Cloud Automation : </b> Automate provisioning, scaling, and monitoring for VMware and Nutanix environments.
Develop automation for Citrix Cloud and NetScaler for tasks like app publishing and load balancing.
Integrate and automate cloud components (AWS or Azure) to support a hybrid infrastructure.<br/><br/><b>- Monitoring & Backup Reliability : </b> Implement automated LogicMonitor solutions for proactive issue detection.
Build automation scripts for Commvault to manage backup and recovery, including reporting.
Create monitoring and alerting tools using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.<br/><br/><b>- Integration & Tooling : </b> Use REST APIs to integrate third-party platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, LogicMonitor, NetScaler).
Leverage Ansible for configuration management across Windows and Linux.
(Preferred) Use DevOps tools such as Terraform and Kubernetes for provisioning and orchestration.<br/><br/><b>- Endpoint Management & Security : </b> Automate endpoint patching, software deployment, and asset tracking using tools like BigFix, JAMF, and Active Directory.
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to automate threat response and enforce compliance standards.<br/><br/><b>- Documentation & Collaboration : </b> Maintain clear and accurate documentation for all automation solutions, procedures, and systems.
Keep the CMDB up to date for server and workstation deployments.
Provide guidance and support to other administrators using automation tools.
Record project and support activities using ServiceNow or similar platforms.
