<p><p><b>Description :</b><br/><br/></p><p>Role : IT Infrastructure Engineer.<br/><br/>Exp : 7+ yrs.<br/><br/>Work Location : Kochi, Kerala.<br/><br/>Primary Technology : Wireless, Firewall, Cloud.<br/><br/>Other nice to have skills : Tools and Automation.<br/><br/>- Design, Operations, building, implementing and supporting reliable and secure connectivity solutions for Employees and Customers, and build automation to prevent problem recurrence.<br/><br/>- You will be responsible for network and security Incident/change/capacity management to support G10X Corporate IT Infrastructure and Customers.<br/><br/><b>Responsibilities and Requirements :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- 6-10 years' experience supporting network and network security technologies, Deployment of LANs, WANs, SDWAN, VPN and Wireless networks in Corporate and Enterprise environment.<br/><br/>- Hands on experience on Firewall, Router, L2/L3 switches, Wireless, load balancers, proxies, DLP, Site to site and employee VPN, Secure access service edge (SASE) and zero trust network access (ZTNA), EDR/XDR.<br/><br/>- Products specially Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco Meraki Wireless, Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches, Palo Alto Prisma, Zscaler.<br/><br/>- In Depth knowledge of cloud technology (Azure/AWS/GCP) and DevOps.<br/><br/>- Prior experience to work On-Prem IT Infrastructure and in Data Center Environment.<br/><br/>- Work with Different functions, Employee experience, Network Operations and Engineering, Project and Business group, Real Estate team on the shared full stack ownership of a collection of services and/or technology areas.<br/><br/>- Understand the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and overall behavioural characteristics of production services.<br/><br/>- Work with Hardware and Software vendors, service providers, Experience on RFI/RFP/SOW.<br/><br/>- Excellent documentation skills to create runbook and process documents, Ability to create accurate network diagrams.<br/><br/>- Implementation of ITIL and ITSM.<br/><br/>- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems.<br/><br/>- Identify opportunities to automate responses to common operational problems and requests.<br/><br/>- Experience with IT/network automation tools, AI, Ansible, python, zero touch provisioning.<br/><br/>- Ensure compliance, configuration and data quality levels are maintained Work with Agile team to deliver network and security solutions, Participate transition solutions successfully into customer environment.<br/><br/>- Strong oral and written technical and interpersonal communication skills including sensitivity to user community and the importance of maintaining a positive vendor relationship.<br/><br/>- A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment including 24x7 model.<br/><br/>- The candidate should be willing to perform on-call duties after hours and on weekends, on rotation, as per the teams schedule, as well as occasional overtime activities during scheduled maintenance windows.<br/><br/>- Full time Bachelors or advanced degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Skills (optional):</b><br/><br/></p><p>- CCNP/ CCIE or equivalent<br/><br/>- Network / Security monitoring tools such as: SNMP, MTRG, Prometheus and Grafana etc.<br/><br/>- Technical understanding and practical application of security support<br/><br/>- Technical understanding and practical application of DevOps<br/><br/>- Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery & Deployment Tools<br/><br/>- Network as Code strategy, Familiarity of IaaS/PaaS/SaaS infrastructure/environments,<br/><br/>- Integration technologies (APIs).<br/><br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
