<p><p><b>Job Title : </b> SAP ABAP Consultant (ODATA, IDoc, CDS View, OOABAP)<br/><br/><b>Location : </b> Pune<br/><br/><b>Job Summary : </b><br/><br/></p><p>We are looking for a skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with hands-on experience in ODATA services, IDoc processing, Core Data Services (CDS) Views, and Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).
The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable SAP solutions aligned with business objectives and S/4HANA best practices.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Develop custom ABAP programs and enhancements using best practices in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).<br/><br/></p><p>- Design and build ODATA services to enable Fiori applications and integrate SAP with external systems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Configure and develop inbound and outbound IDoc interfaces for seamless data exchange with other systems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Create and optimize CDS Views for consumption in Fiori/UI5 applications and reporting.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with functional consultants and end-users to gather and understand Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning of custom developments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Maintain high-quality documentation for all development efforts.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and support activities during go-live and hypercare.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Qualifications : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.<br/><br/></p><p>- 47 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong expertise in : <br/><br/></p><p>a.
ODATA services (SAP Gateway / SEGW)<br/><br/></p><p>b.
IDoc configuration and development<br/><br/></p><p>c.
CDS Views in S/4HANA environment<br/><br/></p><p>d.
Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP)<br/><br/></p><p>- Good understanding of SAP modules like SD, MM, FI, or PP is a plus.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with REST APIs, SAP Fiori/UI5 integration, and Eclipse-based ABAP development (ADT).<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Qualifications : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- SAP Certification in ABAP or related modules.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of BOPF, RAP (Restful ABAP Programming), and AMDP is an advantage.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
