The role demands strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to build scalable, high-performance systems.
You will play a critical part in mentoring engineers, driving architectural decisions, and ensuring that product features are implemented with the highest standards of quality and performance.</p><p><br/></p><p>Key Responsibilities : </p><p><br/></p><p>- Own the design, architecture, and development of mission-critical product features.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Lead and mentor a team of 46 engineers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with the Product Manager and Technical Architect to propose scalable and cost-optimized </p><p>solutions.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Ensure system functionality, scalability, security, and performance across all deliverables.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Actively participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical problem-solving.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Build proof-of-concepts, prototypes, and transition them into production-ready systems.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Define, document, and enforce coding standards and best practices across the team.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Optimize performance and address architectural challenges in distributed systems.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks for services.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Drive adoption of modern development practices, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps culture.</p><p><br/></p><p>Required Skillsets : </p><p><br/></p><p>- 58 years of experience in a product-based company delivering large-scale applications.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong expertise in databases, multithreading, caching strategies, and distributed architectures.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience with AWS services (CDK, Lambda, ECS, etc.).</p><p><br/></p><p>- Proven experience with message queue systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Celery).</p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex performance issues.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience designing and implementing monitoring and alerting frameworks.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (Python preferred) and exposure to multiple languages.</p><p></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
