<p><p>Job Title : Java & Microservices Developer - UPI Domain (45 Years Experience)<br/><br/>Location : Bangalore<br/><br/>Experience Required : 4 to 5 years<br/><br/>Domain : Banking - Mobile app backend</p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>Job Summary :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p>We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with strong expertise in microservices architecture and prior experience in the banking or payments domain and UPI systems.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining scalable and high-performance backend systems, ensuring seamless integration with banking platforms and third-party APIs.</p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based microservices for UPI payment systems.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Build RESTful APIs for banking and payment integrations.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements related to UPI and banking systems.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Ensure high availability and scalability of developed services.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues in production.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Integrate third-party services (e.g., NPCI, CBS, payment gateways).<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Ensure security and compliance with banking regulations and UPI Skills :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p>- 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Java (Java 8+)<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong experience in building microservices using Spring Boot<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with RESTful APIs and API integration<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Good understanding of UPI architecture, transaction flows, and NPCI standards<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or any message brokers<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Proficient in SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL)<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and Maven<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus)<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Understanding of banking systems and regulatory Qualifications :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p>- Previous experience working on Banking, UPI-based applications or payment gateways<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of ISO 8583 or similar financial transaction standards<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum Skills :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p>- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Team player with a proactive attitude</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
