<p>Experience : 5 to 7 Years<br/><br/>Location : Mumbai and Bangalore<br/><br/>Notice : immediate to 2 weeks<br/><br/>Work From Office <br/><br/>Mandatory Skills : Java 21, Spring Boot 3.3+, Mongo, Kafka<br/><br/>- Collaborate and work amongst a large global squad providing technical enhancements and maintenance to large-scale distributed multi-application enrichment and allocation systems.<br/><br/>- Work on large-scale renovation initiatives to upgrade applications onto the latest technical stack, i.e. Java 21, Spring Boot 3.3+, Gradle, Mongo, Kafka, contributing to improvements in reliability, scalability, and observability.<br/><br/>- Identify synergies and converge processes with parallel and neighboring systems to reduce functional redundancy and optimize future maintenance.<br/><br/>- Participate in the design, development, and testing of strategic initiatives to implement functional and non-functional enhancements in alignment with evolving business and regulatory requirements.<br/><br/>- Troubleshooting complex technical issues involving inter-process communication, threading, memory management, data enrichment logic, messaging, databases, and caching<br/><br/>- Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members and even to co-related systems.
<br/><br/>- Contribute to the overall Department renovation strategy, by participating but not limited to Agile Chapter level design discussions and presenting on similar forums.<br/><br/>- Work closely with cross-functional teams and help develop high quality software that adhere to best practices, security standards and design patterns.
<br/><br/>- Ensure application performance, uptime, and scalability.<br/><br/>Qualifications : <br/><br/>- Ability to engage with the broader team, communicate goals, tasks and deliverables in 1-1 and team meetings.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in Java (Spring/Gradle)<br/><br/>- Experience in databases - DB2/Sybase/Mongo and SQL<br/><br/>- Experience in messaging, including Kafka and IBM MQ<br/><br/>- Experience in Linux/Unix and shell scripting<br/><br/>- Ideally, some experience in Python <br/><br/>- Ideally, some exposure to DevOps & CI/CD, Containerization, Kubernetes<br/><br/>- Nice to have some previous Financial Knowledge<br/><br/>- Nice to have some prior experience with the modernisation of large system re-engineering projects.<br/><br/>- Strong communication skills<br/><br/>- Excellent critical, analytical, and problem-solving skills<br/><br/>- Ability to engage and work with a large global team.</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
