We're seeking someone to join our team as (Associate) Java Developer who would be working in an Agile environment with our users across Post Execution (PNS) Fleets to implement Microservice based event-driven, reactive solutions and increase productivity and efficiency of Delivery teams.



WM_Technology

Wealth Management Technology is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Business.

Practice areas include: Analytics, Intelligence, & Data Technology (AIDT), Client Platforms, Core Technology Services (CTS), Financial Advisor Platforms, Global Banking Technology (GBT), Investment Solutions Technology (IST), Institutional Wealth and Corporate Solutions Technology (IWCST), Technology Delivery Management (TDM), User Experience (UX), and the CAO team.



WM Product Technology

Wealth Management Product Technology (WMPT) is a dynamic and fast-paced area within the Firm's WM Technology Division.

We are responsible for creating innovative technology solutions for the Private Banking Group (PBG), one of the strategic growth areas of the Firm, providing cash management and lending products and services to our WM clients.

This includes state-of-the-art technology for a nationwide network of Private Bankers and product specialists who work with Financial Advisors to provide access to products and services such as online banking, cards, deposit products, residential mortgages, securities-based loans, and tailored lending.

Software Engineering

This is Associate position that develops and maintains software solutions that support business needs.

What you'll do in the role:
•Involvement in the full development lifecycle of the project to ensure we iteratively deliver value to our stakeholders
•Engaging with other developers and technologists globally to drive both the platform's resiliency and scalability
•Research and improve DevOps and software testing practices.


•Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills

What you'll bring to the role:
• At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
•Experience in UI framework like Angular is a big plus
•Knowledge of Kafka Stream Processing
•Understanding of secure software development concepts, especially in a cloud platform
•Good communication skills.


•Strong organizational skills.


•Understanding of test management and automation software (e.g. ALM, Jira, JMeter).


•Familiarity with Agile frameworks and Regression testing.


•Previous experience within the Financial domain.
