This is a hands-on technical leadership role, ideal for someone passionate about architecting scalable systems and mentoring developers in a fast-paced environment.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/><b>Technical Leadership & Architecture : </b><br/><br/>- Lead design and implementation of scalable backend systems using Java Spring Boot, microservices, and event-driven patterns<br/><br/>- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements<br/><br/>- Make strategic decisions on technology stack, frameworks, and tools<br/><br/><b>Code Quality & Development : </b><br/><br/>- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards<br/><br/>- Lead debugging and troubleshooting of production issues<br/><br/>- Establish and enforce best practices and methodologies<br/><br/><b>Team Management & Mentoring : </b><br/><br/>- Mentor and guide junior developers<br/><br/>- Coordinate with product managers, QA, and other teams<br/><br/>- Organize training sessions and workshops<br/><br/><b>Technical Implementation : </b><br/><br/>- Implement multithreading and asynchronous programming<br/><br/>- Design event-driven systems and integrate Apache Kafka<br/><br/>- Develop and maintain real-time data processing solutions<br/><br/><b>Required Technical Skills : </b><br/><br/><b>Core : </b><br/><br/>- Advanced Java (8+), Spring Boot (Spring Security, Data JPA, Cloud)<br/><br/>- Microservices architecture and deployment<br/><br/>- PostgreSQL (query optimization, performance tuning)<br/><br/>- RESTful API design and documentation<br/><br/><b>Advanced : </b><br/><br/>- WebSockets, event-driven architecture (event sourcing, CQRS)<br/><br/>- Apache Kafka for real-time data pipelines<br/><br/>- Asynchronous system design<br/><br/><b>Cloud & DevOps (Bonus) : </b><br/><br/>- AWS (Kubernetes, SNS, SES, SQS, Lambda, RDS, ALB)<br/><br/>- Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines<br/><br/><b>Fitness Industry (Bonus) : </b><br/><br/>- Experience with fitness application requirements (user activity tracking, workout management, real-time data processing)<br/><br/>- Integration with wearables and fitness APIs<br/><br/>- High-performance, scalable systems for large user bases<br/><br/>- Mobile backend development for iOS/Android fitness apps<br/><br/><b>Required Qualifications : </b><br/><br/>- 8+ years of professional software development experience (backend focus)<br/><br/>- Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience<br/><br/>- Proven leadership and mentoring experience<br/><br/>- Strong SQL and database optimization skills<br/><br/>- Demonstrated ability to design scalable, secure backend systems<br/><br/>- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
