<p><p><b>Description :</b></p><br/><p><b>About the Role :</b></p><br/><p>We are seeking a highly proficient and dedicated Node.js Developer to contribute to the development and maintenance of our backend applications and APIs. </p><p><br/></p><p>This role requires expertise in building robust, scalable, and high-performance server-side applications using Node.js and its ecosystem.
You will be instrumental in designing database schemas, integrating third-party services, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, well-tested code.</p><br/><p><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><br/><p>- Design, build, and maintain highly scalable, efficient, and reliable server-side applications using Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.</p><br/><p>- Leverage expertise in Node.js frameworks, primarily Express.js, for building robust RESTful APIs and middleware.</p><br/><p>- Work hands-on with databases, demonstrating strong skills in MongoDB using Mongoose (for object data modeling) and experience working with SQL databases for relational data needs.</p><br/><p>- Implement and manage user authentication and authorization mechanisms using libraries like Passport.js.</p><br/><p>- Integrate various third-party APIs and services (e.g., payment gateways, external data providers) reliably and securely.</p><br/><p>- Apply sound knowledge and practical experience with testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, Jasmine, and/or Cucumber to write comprehensive unit, integration, and End-to-End (E2E) tests.</p><br/><p>- Ensure code quality through rigorous reviews and maintain code integrity using version control tools, specifically Git.</p><br/><p>- Actively participate in an Agile development process, collaborating effectively with frontend teams, product managers, and other developers.</p><br/><p>- Utilize server-side templating languages (such as Jade, EJS, or Mustache) and demonstrate a good understanding of CSS preprocessors (such as Stylus, Less, or Sass) for effective view rendering and styling management.</p><br/><p>- Possess a basic understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5 and CSS3 to effectively integrate with the client-side team.</p><br/><p><b>Required Skills and Qualifications :</b></p><br/><br/><p><b>Core Proficiency :</b></p><br/><p>- Highly proficient in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.</p><br/><p><b>Node.js Ecosystem :</b></p><br/><p>- Proven experience with Node.js frameworks, including Express.js, and familiarity with others like Sails.js, Vue.js (for full-stack awareness), and Electron.js (for desktop application awareness).</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
