<p><p><b>Role : Junior API/Middleware Developer</b><br/><br/><b>About the Job :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>We're looking for an enthusiastic and driven Junior API/Middleware Developer to join our growing integration team.<br/><br/>This role is perfect for someone with a solid foundation in API development and middleware, eager to learn and grow within a supportive environment.<br/><br/>You'll contribute to building and maintaining critical integration solutions, working closely with senior architects and developers.<br/><br/><b>Role : </b> Junior API/Middleware Developer<br/><br/><b>Location : </b> Pune/Nagpur, India<br/><br/><b>Time Zone : </b> UK Time Zone (requiring flexibility for collaboration)<br/><br/><b>Notice Period : </b> Immediate (Maximum 15 days is essential)<br/><br/><b>Experience : </b> 3 to 6 years of relevant experience<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- API Development : Develop and maintain APIs, with initial exposure and growing involvement in APIGEE (Edge, Hybrid, or X) platforms.<br/><br/>- Middleware Implementation : Implement integration solutions using various middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, IBM Integration Bus, etc.), following architectural guidelines.<br/><br/>- API Standards : Apply good understanding of RESTful APIs, basic API security concepts (OAuth2.0, JWT), and principles of traffic management.<br/><br/>- Integration Fundamentals : Work with foundational integration patterns, message queuing, and service orchestration concepts in practical applications.<br/><br/>- Cloud & Container Exposure : Gain exposure to cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and an understanding of containerization (Docker) concepts.<br/><br/>- Collaboration & Learning : Collaborate effectively with team members, articulate technical challenges, and actively contribute to finding the best solutions for integration tasks.<br/><br/>- Agile Participation : Participate actively in Agile development cycles and learn about DevOps principles as applied to integration.<br/><br/><b>Qualifications : </b><br/><br/><b>Required : </b><br/><br/>- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in API development and/or middleware platforms.<br/><br/>- Some exposure to or strong interest in learning APIGEE.<br/><br/>- Good understanding of RESTful APIs, and basic concepts of API security (OAuth2.0, JWT) and traffic management.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with integration patterns, message queuing, and service orchestration concepts.<br/><br/>- Good communication skills and a strong desire to learn and contribute to complex technical solutions.<br/><br/>- Experience working in Agile environments and an understanding of DevOps principles.<br/><br/><b>Preferred : </b><br/><br/>- Basic APIGEE training or certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Certified - Associate Cloud Engineer with API gateway knowledge).<br/><br/>- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools.<br/><br/>- Interest in exploring modern integration technologies like Kafka, GraphQL, or similar.<br/><br/>- Prior experience in industries such as banking, healthcare, or telecom is a plus</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
