<p><p><b>Description :</b><br/><br/><b>What youll do :</b><br/><br/></p><p>As a Software Development Manager, you will be responsible for shaping product features and driving the technical execution of the product roadmap.

</p><p><br/></p><p>You will work closely with your team to build systems that stress scalability, accuracy, and robustness.

This is a hands-on leadership role you will actively participate in design, architecture reviews, code reviews, troubleshooting, and work alongside engineers to solve problems.

</p><p><br/></p><p>Your team will be presented with ample opportunities to tackle complex business problems and create real impact for our customers and partners.<br/><br/><b>Key responsibilities :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Own the engineering roadmap, architecture, scalability, and quality of products.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Actively contribute to design discussions, architecture reviews, and coding standards; step in with hands-on support when needed.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with Product Managers and Business teams to define long-term product strategy and release planning in a fast-paced environment.<br/><br/></p><p>- Guide your team through complex technical challenges in fintech and lending tech domains, including AI/ML-driven credit scoring.<br/><br/></p><p>- Mentor and coach engineers across levels; foster strong technical decision-making, code quality, and delivery discipline.<br/><br/></p><p>- Establish, enforce, and evolve engineering best practices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Drive adoption of modern data engineering practices: big data processing, PySpark, NoSQL/unstructured data, and scalable data pipelines.<br/><br/></p><p>- Balance short-term delivery with long-term architecture sustainability.<br/><br/></p><p>- Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.<br/><br/></p><p>- Define and implement learning and development plans, invest in team members career growth, and create succession pipelines.<br/><br/><b>What youll need ?</b><br/><br/></p><p>- 6+ years of experience in end-to-end cloud software development with exposure to scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure distributed systems.

At least 12 years managing engineering teams.<br/><br/></p><p>- Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering (preferably Computer Science or related fields) from a reputed institute (IITs, NITs, or equivalent top schools preferred).<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong CS fundamentals, algorithms, and excellent problem-solving skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience in system design (both high-level and low-level) with ability to validate and improve solutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with AI/ML model integration, particularly in fintech, lending tech, or credit scoring, is a strong advantage.

Basic knowledge of statistical analysis, mathematical modelling and machine learning.<br/><br/></p><p>- Deep expertise in Python and/or Java and related stack (Spring Boot), microservice based architecture, and building maintainable, unit-tested code.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in databases (SQL & NoSQL), message queues (Kafka), and data engineering stacks (Big Data, PySpark, unstructured databases).<br/><br/></p><p>- Very comfortable with data lakes, warehouses, and ETL/ELT paradigms.

Familiarity with Spark, Cassandra, AWS data pipeline stack (Athena, S3, Glue data catalog etc.), Airflow etc.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and infrastructure tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of web technologies (JS, HTML5, CSS), UI patterns (MVC, MVVM, MVP), and exposure to Android development is a plus.<br/><br/></p><p>- Comfortable operating in high-growth startup environments; thrives in ambiguity and drives clarity.<br/><br/></p><p>- Must be comfortable working in fast paced agile environments.

Ability to plan, prioritise, estimate and execute releases with strong degree of predictability.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent leadership and people management skills with proven ability to develop and grow teams.<br/><br/></p><p>- Prior experience in fintech, e-commerce, or product development is highly desirable.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with AWS stack preferred.<br/><br/></p><p>- Be comfortable with a mix of hands-on development and people management.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to to propose and validate system design - low-level and high-level both.
