The role involves providing functional support, implementation, and integration of SAP FI/CO/PS modules in a manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in financial and controlling processes with exposure to project systems, cross-functional integrations, and SAP Provide end-to-end support for SAP FI/CO/PS modules, ensuring timely resolution of issues within SLA.<br/><br/>- Manage and prioritize support tickets while meeting turnaround time (TAT) and minimizing ticket ageing.<br/><br/>- Conduct requirement gathering, configuration, testing, and documentation for new functionalities and change requests.<br/><br/>- Participate in SAP implementation, upgrade, and integration projects as per business needs.<br/><br/>- Ensure smooth integration with SD, MM, and other modules for financial and project-related processes.<br/><br/>- Support period-end closing, cost center accounting, and profitability analysis activities.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and external vendors for process improvements.<br/><br/>- Identify and resolve recurring issues (Problem Tickets) and propose preventive actions.<br/><br/>- Maintain proper documentation of business processes, functional specifications, and testing outcomes.<br/><br/>- Participate in user training, knowledge transfer, and audit compliance activities.<br/><br/>- Occasionally travel to client or project sites for implementation or user support.<br/><br/>Skillsets & Competencies:<br/><br/>- Strong functional expertise in SAP FI (Finance), CO (Controlling), and PS (Project Systems).<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA environment.<br/><br/>- Deep understanding of manufacturing business processes and cost control mechanisms.<br/><br/>- Integration experience with SD, MM, and other SAP modules.<br/><br/>- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in requirement gathering, configuration, testing, and user training.<br/><br/>- Basic knowledge of ABAP debugging, user exits, and enhancement frameworks.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with ServiceNow, SAP Solution Manager, and ITIL processes (preferred).<br/><br/>- Strong documentation and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.<br/><br/>- Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 standards (advantageous).<br/><br/>- SAP FI/CO Certification and a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.<br/><br/>What We Offer:<br/><br/>- Opportunity to work with global teams in a leading manufacturing technology company.<br/><br/>- Continuous learning, upskilling, and professional development programs.<br/><br/>- Flexible, inclusive, and hybrid working culture promoting work-life balance.<br/><br/>- Competitive compensation aligned with industry standards.<br/></p> (ref:iimjobs.com)
