But youll collaborate with a diverse group of talented people and gain invaluable management and organizational skills, which will come in handy as you move forward in your career.</p><br/><p><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><br/><p>- Proven experience on the CICS functionality and architecture.</p><br/><p>- Provide technical support as needed in the planning, coordination, installation, implementation and testing of releases, upgrades or changes to CICS and related ISV products.</p><br/><p>- Capable of installing, upgrading and migrating CICS Transaction Servers.</p><br/><p>- Capable of installing, upgrading and supporting IBM & ISV related products such as Compuware Abend-AID, ASG TMON/CICS, Omegamon for CICS, BMC Mainview, Xpediter/CICS, CA ACF2/CICS, CA Intertest and CA SymDump.</p><br/><p>- Provide primary on-call support for CICS and associated ISV products.</p><br/><p>- Problem determination and resolution within expected timeframe.</p><br/><p>- Diagnose CICS system and related product issues and follow up with Root Cause Analysis.</p><br/><p>- Participate in Disaster Recovery planning and tests as scheduled.</p><br/><p><b>Your future at Kyndryl :</b></p><br/><p>Every position at Kyndryl offers a way forward to grow your career, from Junior System Administrator to Architect.

And finally, youre open and borderless naturally inclusive in how you work with others.</p><br/><p><b>Required Technical and Professional Expertise :</b></p><br/><p>- 8 to 14 Years of experience in CICS system programming.</p><br/><p>- Experience in CICS transaction server and related ISV products.</p><br/><p>- Basic knowledge on the following technologies : z/OS, Unix System Services, SMP/E, REXX, Java, VSAM and Third party products</p><br/><p>- Capable of Upgrading /Installing and supporting IBM & ISV related Products Proficient in technologies like P2V, V2V and P2P migrations.</p><br/><p>- Experience with performance tuning and workload balancing in CICS.</p><br/><p>- Familiarity with CICS monitoring tools (Omegamon for CICS, BMC MainView, IBM CICS Performance Analyzer).</p><br/><p>- Knowledge of CICS Web Services, MQ integration, and DB2 connectivity.</p><br/><p>- Experience with RACF, ACF2, or Top Secret security administration for CICS.</p><br/><p><b>Preferred Technical and Professional Experience :</b></p><br/><p>- Process driven management of technical operations and support.</p><br/><p>- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</p><br/><p>- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.</p><br/><p>- Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.</p><br/><p>- The ability to follow a project through to completion and/or to work as part of a larger team to complete the components of a complex project.</p><br/><p>- Support for technical consultation and inquiries from the other IT technical teams.</p><br/><p>- Develop, document and maintain procedures for system utilities such as backup/restore, performance tuning and configuration of environments.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
