Own and action requests for service, implementing changes and resolving assigned problems (may involve some after hours and weekend work).<br/><br/>- Provide 24x7 after hours on-call support as required for products supported by the team<br/><br/>- Personal compliance and ownership on security, audit and systems integrity posture<br/><br/>- Highlight areas for improvement in current processes, and implement improvements<br/><br/>- Must be flexible to support in different shift timings and provide coverage for the weekend maintenance change implementation windows.<br/><br/>- Attend and actively participate in weekly review meetings with the team leader and/or manager to discuss issues, concerns, people, ideas and workload<br/><br/>- Be a focal point in a technical and client advocate capacity and whenever rotated onto new accounts, ensure other team members are mentored to enable smooth succession of previous account<br/><br/>- Assist wider team performing the level 1-3 capability, potentially offshore or remote locations.<br/><br/><b>Your future at Kyndryl :</b><br/><br/>Every position at Kyndryl offers a way forward to grow your career, from Junior System Administrator to Architect.

And finally, youre open and borderless naturally inclusive in how you work with others.<br/><br/><b>Required Technical and Professional Expertise :</b><br/><br/>- 8+ Years Experience in Mainframe z/OS System Programming.
<br/><br/>- Deep understanding of z/OS operating system architecture and features<br/><br/>- Deep knowledge of z/OS Facilities, Parallel Sysplex, GDPS<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience on SAD, GTF trace concepts<br/><br/>- Led multiple complex IBM and ISV product upgrades and related projects.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in z/OS system programming languages like assembler and REXX<br/><br/>- Expertise in system management tools like SMPE (Software Management Program Entry) and z/OSMF<br/><br/>- Knowledge of mainframe hardware configurations and I/O management<br/><br/>- Experience with system monitoring and performance analysis tools<br/><br/>- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills<br/><br/><b>Preferred Technical and Professional Experience :</b><br/><br/>- Monitoring system performance using RMF, SYSVIEW, Mainview, TMON or Omegamon tools, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimization strategies.
