<p><p><b>Description :</b><br/><br/>We are seeking a Network & Security EngineerL2 with deep technical expertise in routing, switching, wireless technologies, and network security.<br/><br/>The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Cisco Routing& Switching, Arista Routing& Switching, Palo Alto security platforms, along with a strong background in design, implementation, and troubleshooting of complex network environments.<br/><br/>This role demands advanced problem-solving skills, leadership in technical strategy, and the ability to drive secure, scalable infrastructure solutions across the enterprise.<br/><br/><b>Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Act as the technical authority and escalation point for all networking and security-related matters.<br/><br/>- Lead the design and architecture of enterprise network infrastructure including LAN/WAN/WLAN and security zones.<br/><br/>- Implement and manage routing and switching solutions using enterprise-grade technologies (e.g., Cisco, Arista).<br/><br/>- Design, deploy, and manage secure wireless networks, ensuring optimal performance and security compliance.<br/><br/>- Configure and maintain advanced security platforms, including Palo Alto Networks NGFW.<br/><br/>- Lead and perform end-to-end troubleshooting for complex issues across L2-L7.<br/><br/>- Develop and enforce network security policies, segmentation strategies, ACLs, and threat prevention mechanisms.<br/><br/>- Guide network/security operations in incident response, root cause analysis, and preventive action planning.<br/><br/>- Provide strategic input on network modernization, capacity planning, and technology evaluations.<br/><br/>- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and runbooks.<br/><br/>- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with project teams, security operations, and infrastructure leads.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Experience :</b><br/><br/>- Deep expertise in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and switching technologies (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, QoS).<br/><br/>- Strong hands-on experience with enterprise wireless infrastructure (e.g., Cisco, Arista).<br/><br/>- Extensive knowledge of firewall configuration and administration:<br/><br/>- Palo Alto Networks (PAN-OS and Panorama).<br/><br/>- In-depth understanding of network and security design principles, segmentation, and best practices.<br/><br/>- Proven ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot complex enterprise networks.<br/><br/>- Strong background in VPN technologies, NAT, ACLs, IPS/IDS, and layer 7 inspection.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and performance tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, Splunk).<br/><br/><b>Preferred Certifications :</b><br/><br/>- CCNP/CCIE (Enterprise or Security).<br/><br/>- Any relevant cloud networking certifications (AWS, Azure) are a plus.<br/><br/><b>Qualifications :</b><br/><br/>- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or a related field.<br/><br/>- Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.<br/><br/><b>Soft Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.<br/><br/>- Strong documentation and presentation abilities.<br/><br/>- Proactive mindset with a focus on problem prevention and system optimization.<br/><br/>- Ability to lead and mentor technical teams in high-pressure situations.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
