The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and deploying machine learning models and a proven track record of leading teams to deliver successful, scalable, and high-quality AI/ML solutions.
This role is a key leadership position, requiring you to guide a team of engineers while ensuring project delivery, technical excellence, and team growth.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/><b>Technical Leadership & Project Management : </b><br/><br/>- Lead and mentor a team of machine learning and computer vision engineers to deliver high-quality AI/ML solutions for video analytics.<br/><br/>- Own the technical vision and execution of projects, ensuring that all solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with industry best practices.<br/><br/>- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery.<br/><br/><b>Solution Development & Deployment : </b><br/><br/>- Oversee the end-to-end development and deployment of machine learning models in a production environment.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and business stakeholders, to translate complex business requirements into technical AI/ML solutions.<br/><br/>- Ensure seamless integration of AI/ML models into existing systems and workflows.<br/><br/><b>Research & Innovation : </b><br/><br/>- Stay up-to-date with the latest AI/ML research, tools, and technologies (e.g., Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and video processing).<br/><br/>- Evaluate the potential impact of new technologies on the business and drive continuous innovation.<br/><br/><b>Team & Performance Management : </b><br/><br/>- Manage team performance, provide regular feedback, and foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture.<br/><br/>- Offer mentorship and career development opportunities to help engineers grow their skills and expertise.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills : </b><br/><br/><b>AI/ML & Computer Vision Experience : </b><br/><br/>- 10-15 years of total experience, with 6+ years in developing and deploying machine learning models.<br/><br/>- At least 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing and mentoring a team of machine learning engineers.<br/><br/><b>Programming & Libraries : </b><br/><br/>- Strong programming skills in C++ and at least one other relevant language such as Python.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries and SDKs such as OpenCV, OpenVino, TensorRT, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and NVIDIA Deepstream SDK.<br/><br/><b>Cloud & DevOps : </b><br/><br/>- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with MLOps practices, including model serving, monitoring, and pipeline automation.<br/><br/><b>Communication & Leadership : </b><br/><br/>- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.<br/><br/>- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve project goals and maintain a high-quality standard of work.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Skills : </b><br/><br/>- Experience with developing AI/ML solutions for video analytics or surveillance systems.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of video streaming protocols (RTSP, RTMP) and codecs (H.264, H.265).<br/><br/>- Experience with real-time analytics and edge computing.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.<br/><br/>- Relevant certifications in AI/ML or a major cloud platform.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
