<p><p><b>JOB DESCRIPTION :</b><br/><br/>As part of our exciting growth journey, were expanding our Software Engineering team and are on the lookout for a talented Software Engineer to join us on a hybrid basis at our London office.<br/><br/>This is a rare chance to work on high-impact greenfield products for some of the biggest and most iconic sports brands in the world.
Youll be at the forefront of building modern, scalable software from the ground up, helping shape the future of fan engagement across global sport.<br/><br/>Youll be someone who thrives when solving complex problems with elegant, simple solutions.

You care about writing clean, maintainable code and are excited to contribute to building best-in-class products that push the boundaries of whats possible in sport.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Write clean, and reusable code following best practices whilst helping to define coding standards and team conventions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Be an advocate for developer experience and have a keen interest in continually improving it.<br/><br/></p><p>- Encouraging a blameless culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.<br/><br/></p><p>- Leading and influencing the technical design, architecture and development of digital projects.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work closely with Engineering Managers, Engineering Leads and Product Managers to understand </p><p>problems and define technical scope for global sports properties.<br/><br/></p><p>- Setting up software development frameworks for release management, automation, code quality and source control.<br/><br/></p><p>- Providing technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to other Two Circles engineers.<br/><br/></p><p>- Keeping up to date on emerging technologies and trends in sports technology.<br/><br/><b>Requirements :</b><br/><br/>- A minimum of 5+ years experience in software engineering.<br/><br/></p><p>- A strong desire to continually learn and improve.<br/><br/></p><p>- Solid understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals, with hands-on experience using Node.js.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong understanding of database systems, including both document-oriented databases such as MongoDB and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.<br/><br/></p><p>- An understanding or interest in at least one JavaScript framework such as React, Angular or Vue.js.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with software architecture principles and common design patterns, particularly in building scalable systems.<br/><br/></p><p>- An appreciation of DevOps and platform engineering culture.
