<p><p><b>Lead Data Scientist :</b><br/><br/>We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist to spearhead our AI/ML initiatives and lead a high-performing data science team.<br/><br/> In this role, you will be a key driver of innovation, combining deep hands-on technical expertise with strong leadership to deliver production-ready AI solutions that create significant business value.<br/><br/>You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our AI products, from ideation and strategy to development, deployment, and monitoring.<br/><br/> This includes driving applied research in advanced areas like Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Computer Vision, and Natural Language Processing (NLP).<br/><br/> You'll also provide technical guidance and mentorship, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the team.<br/><br/><b>What You'll Do (Responsibilities) :</b><br/><br/>- Lead AI Strategy & Vision: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and business stakeholders, to identify opportunities and define a strategic roadmap for AI solutions that drive business outcomes.<br/><br/>- Develop & Deploy Solutions: Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI/ML models and solutions.<br/><br/>- Manage the complete project lifecycle, from data preparation and model building to validation, deployment, and performance monitoring.<br/><br/>- Drive Innovation: Stay at the forefront of AI research and innovation, especially in LLMs, Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and Agentic AI.<br/><br/> Apply this knowledge to build novel and impactful products.<br/><br/>- Provide Technical Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert and provide technical guidance and mentorship to senior and junior data scientists.<br/><br/> Establish best practices, frameworks, and accelerators for repeatable and scalable AI solution delivery.<br/><br/>- Ensure Quality & Scalability: Guarantee that all solutions are scalable, reliable, and compliant with performance and governance standards.<br/><br/>- Communicate & Represent: Represent the data science function in strategic discussions with leadership and clients, effectively communicating complex technical concepts and project progress.<br/><br/><b>What We're Looking For (Requirements) :</b><br/><br/><b>Experience & Background :</b><br/><br/>- 6-10 years of total experience in Data Science and AI, with a minimum of 2+ years in a team leadership, management, or mentorship capacity.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience delivering production-grade AI systems from concept to deployment.<br/><br/>- Experience in a startup or innovation-focused environment building AI-first products is highly desirable.<br/><br/>- Exposure to domains such as BFSI, Telecom, or SaaS is a plus.<br/><br/><b>Technical Expertise :</b><br/><br/>- Proficiency in Python and SQL.<br/><br/>- Strong expertise in the following areas:<br/><br/>- Machine Learning & Deep Learning: Architectures like ANN, CNN, RNN, and Transformers.<br/><br/>- Natural Language Processing & Generative AI: LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG, and Document AI.<br/><br/>- Computer Vision: Object Detection, OCR, Image Segmentation, and Vision Transformers.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with major AI/ML frameworks and libraries, including PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, and Langchain.<br/><br/>- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools like Docker.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with data engineering workflows using ETL, Spark, and Databricks.<br/><br/><b>Leadership & Soft Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.<br/><br/> You can effectively collaborate with business and technical teams.<br/><br/>- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to define and solve complex, ambiguous business problems.<br/><br/><b>Bonus Points :</b><br/><br/>- Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects or published research papers.<br/><br/>- Experience with Vector Databases and Agentic AI frameworks<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
