<p><p><b>Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Design and lead the development and deployment of solutions that leverage data sciences and advanced analytics to drive incremental value for a retail business.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Be responsible for working on multiple use cases at the same time.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Analyse and model structured data using advanced statistical methods and implement algorithms and software needed to perform analysis.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Manage the continuous improvement of data science / ML by following industry trends and staying up to date.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Develop and recommend process standards and best practices in ML.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Build relevant new capabilities in advanced.<br/><br/><b>Requirements :</b><br/><br/>- Experience : 8 to 11 years.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong experience in exploratory data analysis, ML experiment design, statistical testing, and frameworks.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Proven experience in designing and scaling up data science solutions.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience working in scrum teams with Agile tools like JIRA.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong verbal and written communication skills.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Ability to explain complex concepts and technical material to non-technical users.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Retail or Ecommerce domain is preferable.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Has mentored or led small teams of 2 to 4 team members.<br/><br/><b>Technical skills required :</b><br/><br/>- Advanced understanding of statistics is a must - at least 8 years of hands-on experience in solving data science problems.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Should have worked extensively in any of the following : multiple linear regression/ logistic regression/ clustering/ random forests/ forecasting/mathematical optimization.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Expertise in tools required to execute a data science project - SQL, Python, ML algorithms.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Expertise in using Cloud solutions(AWS, Azure, etc.
