<p><p><b>Job Title :</b> Lead Engineer .NET<br/><br/><b>Location :</b> Kochi / Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala (Kerala Candidates Only)<br/><br/><b>Department : </b>Software Development<br/><br/><b>Experience :</b> 5- 8 Years<br/><br/><b>Qualification :</b> Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field<br/><br/><b>About the Role :</b><br/><br/>The Lead Engineer .NET will be responsible for leading end-to-end development of scalable web applications and APIs using the .NET Core framework.
The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade software solutions while ensuring code quality, performance, and best practices.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Lead the design, development, and implementation of web APIs and applications using .NET Core.<br/><br/>- Manage and guide a team of developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and first-time quality delivery.<br/><br/>- Review code, pull requests, and ensure adequate test coverage through unit testing.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with architects to define technical solutions and ensure alignment with business goals.<br/><br/>- Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and agile ceremonies; lead sprints in the absence of the Scrum Master.<br/><br/>- Translate business requirements and user stories into technical specifications and deliver working code.<br/><br/>- Ensure compliance with CI/CD pipelines, static code analysis, and version control standards.<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain application performance and scalability.<br/><br/>- Oversee integration of various databases (SQL/NoSQL) and cloud-based services (AWS, Azure, GCP).<br/><br/>- Drive process improvements and adoption of best practices within the development team.<br/><br/>- Mentor junior team members in coding, architecture, and agile methodologies.<br/><br/>- Prepare design documents, technical specifications, and implementation reports.<br/><br/>- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend tools or frameworks that enhance productivity.<br/><br/><b>Required Skillsets :</b><br/><br/>- Proven expertise in developing .NET Core-based web applications and RESTful APIs.<br/><br/>- Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and Blazor.<br/><br/>- Excellent understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in working with RDBMS (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cosmos DB).<br/><br/>- Experience in microservices architecture and containerized deployment (Docker, Kubernetes preferred).<br/><br/>- Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or Google Cloud equivalents.<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and DevOps practices.<br/><br/>- Proficiency with GIT or SVN for version control.<br/><br/>- Exposure to static code analysis tools and agile tracking tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.<br/><br/>- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to anticipate technical challenges.<br/><br/>- Strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.<br/><br/><b>Nice to have :</b><br/><br/>- Experience with identity providers such as IdentityServer, Auth0, or Keycloak.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
