<p><p>We are looking for a Lead Frontend Engineer with strong expertise in React.js and JavaScript to lead and mentor a team of frontend developers.<br/><br/>The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting, designing, and building scalable, high-performance web applications while ensuring best practices in code quality, UI/UX, and performance.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of frontend developers in delivering high-quality web applications.<br/><br/>- Own the design and development of scalable, reusable, and maintainable front-end components using React.js, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences.<br/><br/>- Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and performance optimizations.<br/><br/>- Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality across the team.<br/><br/>- Drive adoption of new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve development efficiency.<br/><br/>- Manage project timelines, technical debt, and provide technical leadership in architecture discussions.<br/><br/>- Ensure applications are optimized for speed, scalability, and cross-browser/device compatibility.<br/><br/>- Stay updated with the latest trends in frontend development, React ecosystem, and JavaScript frameworks.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Qualifications :</b><br/><br/>- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).<br/><br/>- 5-7+ years of experience in frontend development, with at least 1+ years in a lead/mentorship role.<br/><br/>- Strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Redux (or other state management tools).<br/><br/>- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, and responsive web design principles.<br/><br/>- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and integration with backend services.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, Vite, etc.) and package managers (npm, yarn).<br/><br/>- Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, etc.<br/><br/>- Experience in performance optimization, accessibility (WCAG/ARIA), and SEO best practices.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and agile development practices.<br/><br/>- Excellent problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, and communication skills.<br/><br/><b>Good to Have (Preferred Skills) :</b><br/><br/>- Knowledge of Next.js or other SSR frameworks.<br/><br/>- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).<br/><br/>- Familiarity with micro-frontends and modular architectures.<br/><br/>- Exposure to design systems and UI libraries (Material UI, Ant Design, Tailwind CSS).<br/><br/>- Contribution to open-source projects or personal portfolio of frontend projects.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
