<p><p><b>Description : </b><br/><br/>We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled Lead Network Engineer to join our infrastructure team in Chennai.
</p><p><br/></p><p>The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience managing and supporting large-scale enterprise network environments, with hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining global network infrastructures.
</p><p><br/></p><p>This role demands deep technical knowledge across LAN, WAN, Data Center, VPN, and network security technologies, with proficiency in tools and platforms like Meraki, Arista, Aruba, and Cisco.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Lead the design, deployment, and management of enterprise-wide network infrastructure, including Data Center, LAN/WAN, and VPN services.<br/><br/>- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Network Services including WAN, LAN, DC, and Client Connectivity.<br/><br/>- Support and maintain large-scale Global WAN infrastructures with over 100 sites using technologies such as MPLS, ATT ANIRA, ATT AVPN, IP-Sec VPN, and IZO.<br/><br/>- Manage enterprise-class Data Center environments, particularly in Spine-Leaf network architectures.<br/><br/>- Ensure high availability and reliability of network systems across multiple locations and data centers.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support production systems and resolve complex technical issues.<br/><br/>- Provide strategic input on network capacity planning, security improvements, and performance enhancements.<br/><br/>- Maintain documentation for network systems, standards, and procedures.<br/><br/>- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in enterprise networking and proactively recommend improvements.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills and Experience : </b><br/><br/>- 10+ years of experience in network engineering roles, with a focus on large enterprise environments.<br/><br/>Strong hands-on experience with : <br/><br/> - Meraki (Mandatory)<br/><br/> - Arista (Mandatory)<br/><br/> - HPE Aruba Wireless Infrastructure (Mandatory)<br/><br/> - Cisco switching and routing<br/><br/>- Expertise in managing and troubleshooting complex LAN/WAN environments.<br/><br/>- Proven experience in implementing and supporting global WAN infrastructures with multiple connectivity technologies.<br/><br/>- In-depth knowledge of networking and network security technologies.<br/><br/>- Experience with enterprise Data Center networking, particularly Spine-Leaf topologies.<br/><br/>- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<br/><br/>- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Qualifications : </b><br/><br/>- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.<br/><br/>- Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, Aruba Certified, or equivalent are a plus.<br/><br/>- Experience working in global enterprise environments with a distributed team model.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
