<p><p><b>About Client :</b></p><p><br/>Our vision to be a leader in business transformation guides our efforts to drive our clients success.</p><p><br/></p><p>Through deep engineering expertise, innovative solutions, and a collaborative approach, we empower clients to achieve their goals and unlock new growth opportunities.</p><p><br/></p><p><b>Job Title :</b> Lead SQL DBA</p><p><br/></p><p><b>Exp :</b> 12+ :</b> :</b> As Per Period :</b> 0-15 Of Hire :</b> Contract</p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>Job Description :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>The SQL Server DBA will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our corporate is a hands-on position requiring exceptional technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>DBA will be responsible for the development and sustainment of the enterprise wide SQL Server setup, ensuring its operational readiness (security, health and performance.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Must be capable of working independently and hands-on experience with :<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Amazon RDS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server)<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Apache Cassandra (including setup, scaling, repairs, and performance tuning)<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Document Databases (e.g., MongoDB, Amazon DocumentDB, Skills :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p>- 14+ years MS SQL Server Administration experience required<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Provide technical leadership for the service component or the product<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- IT Operations with strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and best practices<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and third-party tools<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with backups, restores and recovery processes<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience in handling database corruption<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Manage Encrypted database, TDE and SSL certificate<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Manage PaaS and IaaS environment<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with SSIS packages, SSRS and SSAS<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience working with Windows server, including Active Skills :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p>- Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide clear documentation of production processes as necessary<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Mentor and train new hires<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- MCTS, MCITP, and/or MVP certifications is Skills :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p>- Effective interpersonal, team building and communication skills<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Ability to collaborate; be able to communicate clearly and concisely both to laypeople and peers, be able to follow instructions, make a team stronger for your presence and not weaker<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Ability to see the bigger picture and differing perspectives; to compromise, to balance competing priorities, and to prioritize the user<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Desire for continuous improvement, of the worthy sort; always be learning and seeking improvement, avoid change aversion and excessive conservatism, equally avoid harmful perfectionism, 'not-invented-here' syndrome and damaging pursuit of the bleeding edge for its own sake<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Learn things quickly, while working outside the area of expertise<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Analyze a problem and realize exactly what all will be affected by even the smallest of change you make in your design<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Ability to communicate complex technology to no tech audience in simple and precise manner<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Ownership :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p>- Must have 4 Year degree (Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent)<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- 14+ years overall IT experience</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
