As the company scales rapidly, they are seeking an experienced Lead / Principal Software Engineer (Gen AI) to help shape their AI and ML-driven products.<br/><br/><b>Job Description :</b><br/><br/>We are looking for an exceptional Lead / Principal Software Engineer with expertise in Generative AI to drive the development of innovative, scalable, and AI-powered solutions.

This individual will work directly with senior leadership, including the CEO and CTO, to craft and scale the product's AI-driven architecture.

As a key member of the team, you will play an essential role in building robust systems, integrating machine learning models, and refining AI capabilities to stay ahead of the curve.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/><b></b>- Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI systems that enhance platform capabilities, particularly in Generative AI and machine learning.<br/><br/>- Build and optimize machine learning pipelines that process and integrate data, enabling efficient model training and inference.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain AI-based products that address real-world challenges in compliance and regulatory domains.<br/><br/>- Enhance system robustness through continuous model evaluation, tuning, and optimization for performance.<br/><br/>- Develop and implement strategies to improve model accuracy, including handling issues like hallucinations, tokenization, and other challenges unique to Generative AI models.<br/><br/>- Mentor junior engineers and ensure the implementation of best practices for coding, security, and design.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with the CTO to ensure the architecture supports business goals and allows for scalable product growth.<br/><br/><b>Tech Stack : </b><br/><br/>- Python for AI/ML scripting<br/><br/>- Typescript for API development<br/><br/>- Kafka, Spark, and data warehouses for ML pipelines<br/><br/>- AWS, GCP, and Terraform for infrastructure management<br/><br/>- Experience with Generative AI and LLMs is required<br/><br/><b>What We Expect :</b><br/><br/>- 6+ years of experience in AI, ML, or software engineering roles, with at least 2+ years working on Generative AI systems.<br/><br/>- Experience in scaling AI/ML systems, from concept to deployment, preferably within early-stage startups.<br/><br/>- Strong proficiency in Python and Typescript, with hands-on experience building end-to-end AI-powered solutions.<br/><br/>- Experience in working on LLMs (Large Language Models) and Fine Tuning.<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of machine learning and AI fundamentals, including model optimization, data preprocessing, and model evaluation.<br/><br/>- Ability to build and deploy secure APIs and systems in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP).<br/><br/>- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to delivering high-quality solutions at scale.<br/><br/><b>What to Expect :</b><br/><br/>- Competitive Salary : 2.5M - 8M INR, based on experience, plus equity (0.05% - 0.30%).<br/><br/>- Hybrid Work : The role allows flexibility, with 3 days required in the office each week.<br/><br/>- Ownership : You'll have significant ownership over the product and infrastructure.<br/><br/>- Work Culture : You will be part of a dynamic, high-energy environment with a focus on speed, innovation, and customer-centric development.
