We are currently looking for a skilled Linux Administrator with expertise in DB2/Adabas databases to join our expert team.

Role Overview:

As a Linux Administrator with DB2/Adabas database expertise, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the Linux environment, as well as managing and ensuring the performance of DB2 and Adabas databases.

You will collaborate with development, operations, and support teams to ensure seamless operations and optimal performance of our database systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain Linux servers and environments.

  • Install, configure, and maintain DB2 and Adabas databases.

  • Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize configurations.

  • Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions for databases.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployments and upgrades.

  • Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices.

Requirements

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Linux Administrator.

  • Strong knowledge of DB2 and Adabas databases.

  • Experience with shell scripting and automation.

  • Familiarity with database performance tuning and optimization.

  • Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions for databases.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
