<p>Work Timings : Should be willing to work in rotational shift with 24x7 support window.<br/><br/>Educational qualifications : Must be a graduate.</p><p><br/></p><p>Job Description :</p><p><br/>- Should have a minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Linux/Unix System Administrator.<br/><br/>- VCS (Veritas Cluster) experience is a must and should have worked on Linux clusters<br/><br/>- Should have expertise on at least 2 flavors of Unix.
Linux is a must!<br/><br/>- Should have a deep level of understanding of Linux OS & should be able to handle day to day admin tasks.
<br/><br/>- Should be well versed with OS patching.<br/><br/>- Should be well versed shell scripting.<br/><br/>- Should have excellent troubleshooting skills to fix system down issues.<br/><br/>- Should be able to handle critical & high severity technical bridges.<br/><br/>- Puppet/Ansible knowledge would be an added advantage.<br/><br/>- Should have knowledge on clustering.<br/><br/>- Should be able to build Linux servers as well as perform OS upgrades.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of different hardware architecture, roadmap, and implementation.<br/><br/>- Should be well versed on capacity & configuration management analysis of the servers.<br/><br/>- Should be well versed with ITIL.<br/><br/>- Should have excellent written & oral communication skills.<br/><br/>- Must be keen to learn new development methods and technologies and be a fast learner.<br/><br/>- Be enthusiastic about work and be a good team player.<br/><br/>- Maintain the positive attitude, be honest and sincere in work.<br/><br/>- Knowledge on virtualization.<br/><br/>- Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure that ORG DATA Services meet the clients expectations and deliver quality services within specified service level agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations.<br/><br/>- Propose possible process and technical improvements to management.<br/><br/>Good to have :<br/><br/>- Performs incident resolution, problem determination and root cause analysis in accordance with Service Level Agreements.<br/><br/>- Should have excellent written & oral communication skills.<br/><br/>- Must be keen to learn new development methods and technologies and be a fast learner.<br/><br/>- Be enthusiastic about work and be a good team player.<br/><br/>- Maintain the positive attitude, be honest and sincere in work.<br/><br/>- Knowledge on virtualization.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of handling any of the new edge technologies like OpenStack, OpenShift, Docker, AWS or Azure cloud would be preferred.<br/><br/>- Perform root cause analysis on the repeated problematic servers through problem management process.<br/><br/>- Experience on Automation would be preferred.<br/><br/>- Hands on experience on data center, DR & server migrations are a must.<br/><br/>- Experience on team handling would be an added advantage.<br/><br/>- Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure that ORG DATA Services meet the client's expectations and deliver quality services within specified service level agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations.<br/><br/>- Coordinate escalations and collaborate with internal technology teams, leadership, and clients to ensure timely resolution of issues.<br/><br/>- Propose possible process and technical improvements to management.<br/><br/>- Evaluate emerging technologies to ensure technical solutions are compatible with the company's business needs and strategic objectives.<br/><br/>- Assumes responsibility to improve service, efficiency, and quality of work.<br/><br/>- Develop innovative and creative output based on interpretation and analysis that improves business performance and contributes to corporate goals and strategic intent.</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
