<p><p><b>What Youll Be Doing :</b></p><br/><p>- Building, maintaining, scaling, and hardening AWS infrastructure that supports current and future needs of our platform.</p><br/><p>- Maintain and improve the security posture of Loopios infrastructure in order to protect customer data.</p><br/><p>- Collaborate closely with InfoSec, Architect and Engineering teams to find the best solution for services on the AWS platform.</p><br/><p>- Automating manual tasks, allowing the team to continue to focus on moving forward: improving our security posture, evaluating new technologies, and helping launch exciting new features.</p><br/><p>- Participate in strategic platform and technology decisions, including new technologies, cost-savings strategies, and improved process.</p><br/><p>- Project based work including software upgrades, centralized logging, automated monitoring, automated configuration management, load testing, exploring alternative tools to incorporate into the environment, etc.</p><br/><p>- Mentor and coach others, providing technical guidance and helping build an environment of knowledge-sharing and candid feedback.</p><br/><p>- Playing a supporting role by joining Incident Response and on-call rotations.</p><br/><p>- Improve both our incident response by simulating failure scenarios, and disaster recovery processes.</p><br/><p><b>What Youll Bring To The Team :</b></p><br/><p>- 5+ years of experience in a high-growth agile software development environment.</p><br/><p>- A focus on automation and reducing toil.</p><br/><p>- Leadership within the team, expressing candor & curiosity.</p><br/><p>- Ability to operate independently and collaborate effectively across Engineering teams as well as cross-functionally towards achieving the same goal.</p><br/><p>- Experience with AWS and AWS services (EC2, RDS, Route 53, VPCs, etc) and Azure.</p><br/><p>- Strong understanding of Immutable Infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).</p><br/><p>- Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, etc.</p><br/><p>- Solid understanding of best practices for delivery of cloud-based managed applications at a global scale (e.</p><br/><p>- DevOps, SRE, continuous delivery).</p><br/><p>- Experience with containerization technology (Docker, ECS, Fargate).</p><br/><p>- Passionate about continuous improvement and promoting a culture of feedback driven by data and key metrics.</p><br/><p>- Experience building and supporting high-performance / high-availability platforms with a microservices architecture.</p><br/><p>- Experience with Jenkins (CI/CD pipelines).</p><br/><p>- Experience with centralized configuration management tools, such as Chef and Ansible.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
