<p>JOB TITLE : M365 & Security Analyst - Indore, India<br/><br/>JOB PURPOSE : </p><p><br/></p><p>This role supports the secure and efficient operation of Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint Online, security configurations, identity administration, licensing, and Global Security Authentication (GSA).

The candidate ensures collaboration continuity, compliance alignment, and proactive service management across hybrid environments.<br/><br/>QUALIFICATION : Engineering Degree (Computers / Electronics)<br/><br/>CERTIFICATIONS : Microsoft 365 Certified : Administrator Expert<br/><br/>- Microsoft Certified : Cybersecurity Architect Expert<br/><br/>- ITIL Foundation<br/><br/>- Enterprise Authentication or Identity Federation Training (vendor or internal)<br/><br/>- AI-related training or certification will be considered an added advantage.<br/><br/>EXPERIENCE : Minimum 5-8 years of hands-on experience in M365 & security<br/><br/>REPORTING TO : NOC SDM<br/><br/>RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDES ALL TASKS) : <br/><br/> Key Responsibilities : <br/><br/> M365 Administration : <br/><br/>- Manage user provisioning, mailbox creation, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, and overall tenant configurations<br/><br/>- Monitor service health, implement governance policies, and troubleshoot collaboration tool issues<br/><br/>- M365 Security & Email Protection<br/><br/>- Configure and maintain Conditional Access, MFA, DLP, and Defender for Office 365<br/><br/>- Monitor and respond to phishing, spam, and malware threats via Defender, Mimecast, or Proofpoint<br/><br/>- Perform security incident response and impact assessment in alignment with SOC practices<br/><br/> SharePoint Administration : <br/><br/>- Administer SharePoint Online sites, access permissions, storage quotas, and taxonomy<br/><br/>- Support site lifecycle management, metadata tagging, archival processes, and retention alignment<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot sync issues and coordinate with content owners for collaboration efficiency<br/><br/> Active Directory & Hybrid Identity : <br/><br/>- Manage AD groups, OU structures, hybrid identity provisioning using AAD Connect<br/><br/>- Ensure seamless identity federation, access synchronization, and RBAC alignment<br/><br/> Global Security Authentication (GSA) : <br/><br/>- Implement and maintain GSA protocols for secure service access and identity validation<br/><br/>- Coordinate GSA onboarding for offshore resources and service accounts<br/><br/>- Maintain authentication workflows and logs for compliance visibility and risk tracking<br/><br/>- Collaborate with enterprise security teams to optimize federated access policies and identity assurance<br/><br/> License Management & Reporting : <br/><br/>- Oversee subscription tracking, license assignment, and renewal forecasting<br/><br/>- Maintain dashboards for license consumption, access anomalies, and budget planning<br/><br/>- Provide documentation support for internal audits and compliance reviews<br/><br/> Cross-Team Engagement : <br/><br/>- Collaborating with Infrastructure, Security, Compliance, Procurement, and regional delivery teams<br/><br/>- Facilitate KT sessions and resource onboarding<br/><br/>- Escalate critical issues and support transition coordination<br/><br/>- Windows Server & Security<br/><br/>- Administer Windows Server environments and Active Directory<br/><br/>- Perform Windows security patching and ensure compliance with baseline configuration<br/><br/>TECHNICAL SKILLS /COMPETENCIES : <br/><br/>MANDATORY : <br/><br/>- Domain Proficiency Level<br/><br/>- Microsoft 365 Suite (Admin Center) Strong<br/><br/>- SharePoint Online Management Strong<br/><br/>- Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive Strong<br/><br/>- Microsoft Defender / Email Security Strong<br/><br/>- Certification Authority Administration Strong<br/><br/>- Azure AD (Entra ID), Active Directory, GPO & Hybrid Identity Moderate to Strong<br/><br/>- Global Security Authentication (GSA) Strong<br/><br/>- License & Subscription Management Strong<br/><br/>- PowerShell (Admin Scripts) Desirable<br/><br/>- ISO / SOC Compliance Practices Desirable<br/><br/>OPTIONAL : <br/><br/>- Experience with AI-based implementation or support will be considered an added advantage.<br/><br/>SOFT SKILLS : <br/><br/>MANDATORY : <br/><br/>- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability<br/><br/>- Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills<br/><br/>- Clear and accurate documentation skills<br/><br/>- Proven experience in team leadership and collaboration, with the ability to work effectively across departments and foster a cooperative work environment.<br/><br/>- High attention to detail and proactive security mindset</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
