The SaaS products enable US insurance companies to make smarter, faster decisions, optimize underwriting, reduce risks, and appropriately price premiums.<br/><br/><b>Position Summary : </b><br/><br/>We are looking for passionate Machine Learning Engineers at two levels - MLE-1 and MLE-2 - to join our dynamic Bangalore team and contribute to building and scaling AI-driven solutions.
This role involves hands-on model development, experimentation, deployment, and optimization, working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.
You will have the opportunity to build scalable ML pipelines, fine-tune cutting-edge LLMs, and design NLP and computer vision applications tailored to real business challenges.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Collaborate with senior engineers and stakeholders to design and realize AI product features.<br/><br/>- Train, fine-tune, evaluate, and deploy ML and LLM models effectively.<br/><br/>- Build and maintain scalable ML pipelines for experimentation, model management, and deployment.<br/><br/>- Optimize model performance including GPU utilization, parallel training, and other scaling methods.<br/><br/>- Develop and enhance LLMOps and MLOps infrastructure incorporating Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud services.<br/><br/>- Implement APIs for scalable model inference with robust monitoring and testing strategies.<br/><br/>- Apply best practices in DevOps, including container orchestration, continuous integration, and deployment.<br/><br/>- Stay abreast of industry trends and contribute innovative ideas and research into production-level solutions.<br/><br/>- Specifically tailor LLM solutions for insurance underwriting and related use cases.<br/><br/><b>Technical Skills & Tools : </b><br/><br/>- LLM & ML Frameworks : Hugging Face OSS LLMs, GPT, Gemini, Claude, Mixtral, Llama.<br/><br/>- LLMOps Platforms : MLFlow, LangChain, LangGraph, LangFlow, Langfuse, LlamaIndex, SageMaker, AWS Bedrock, Azure AI.<br/><br/>- Databases : MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Pinecone, ChromDB.<br/><br/>- Cloud Platforms : AWS, Azure.<br/><br/>- DevOps & Orchestration : Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, CI/CD pipelines.<br/><br/>- Programming Languages : Proficiency in Python, SQL, and JavaScript.<br/><br/>- Preferred Certifications (Optional) : AWS Professional Solutions Architect, AWS Machine Learning Specialty, Azure Solutions Architect Expert.<br/><br/><b>Experience & Qualifications : </b><br/><br/>- Machine Learning Engineers, Level 1 : 12 years of experience in ML, software engineering, or data science roles (internships count).
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field required.<br/><br/>- Machine Learning Engineers, Level 2 : Minimum 3 years of professional industry experience.
Masters degree preferred or equivalent experience in ML or software engineering.
