<p><p><b>Job Title : </b> Magento Developer.<br/><br/> <b>Location : </b> Kochi/Bangalore.<br/><br/> <b>Experience : </b> 5+.<br/><br/> <b>Mandate : </b><br/><br/></p><p> - Magento1 and Magento 2 experience along with Migration 5 years Mandatory.<br/><br/></p><p> - familiar in RESTful APIs and GraphQL 3 years experience Mandatory.<br/><br/></p><p> - Experience in headless architecture.<br/><br/></p><p> - Strong knowledge in Magento Indexing & Caching.<br/><br/></p><p> - Experience in customization using 3rd party search module.<br/><br/> <b>Job Description : </b><br/><br/></p><p> - Overall 5+ years of experience working on Magento / Adobe Commerce Cloud.<br/><br/></p><p> - Prefer someone with over 5 years of experience in various capacities in Retail Domain.<br/><br/></p><p> - Deep Knowledge in Magento 2 +, preferring a full stack mindset.<br/><br/></p><p> - Should have a good understanding of all sub-systems in eCommerce including User Management, Catalog / Product / Browse / Search, Promotions & Pricing, Payments, Cart & Checkout, Tax, Address validations, Checkout, Place Order, Backend jobs and processes etc.<br/><br/></p><p> - Prefer someone working on a composable paradigm with knowledge of disparate components for CMS (AEM, Contentful etc), Search (Constructor, Bloomreach etc), Loyalty, PWA for experience layer, International Shipping etc.<br/><br/></p><p> - Able to build custom reusable modules from scratch.<br/><br/></p><p> - Deep understanding of Magento 2 architecture and best practices.<br/><br/></p><p> - Should be familiar in RESTful APIs and GraphQL.<br/><br/></p><p> - Capable of extending GraphQL schemas for custom modules.<br/><br/></p><p> - Strong knowledge in Magento Indexing & Caching.<br/><br/></p><p> - Proven experience in writing and managing backend batch jobs, data syncs and cron-based processes.<br/><br/></p><p> - Create and optimize custom scheduled jobs and asynchronous background processes (e.g., order sync, catalog imports).<br/><br/></p><p> - Solid MySQL and database schema design experience, including indexing and optimization.<br/><br/></p><p> - Optimize database queries, indexing strategies, and backend performance across Magento and related services.<br/><br/></p><p> - Proficient in developing and consuming REST/SOAP APIs.<br/><br/></p><p> - Recommended to have experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar).<br/><br/></p><p> - Third-party Service Integration Prefer someone with experience in integration aspects including like ERPs, CRMs, OMS, Payment Gateways etc.<br/><br/></p><p> - Experience in working with multi-website/multi -store/store-views/brands with support to multi-language & multi-currency.<br/><br/></p><p> - Proficient in PHP and MySQL.<br/><br/></p><p> - Exposure to headless architecture and PWA Studio is must.<br/><br/></p><p> - Good grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira.<br/><br/></p><p> - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA to ensure quality and timely delivery.<br/><br/></p><p> - Optimize site performance and scalability; perform code reviews and ensure coding standards.<br/><br/></p><p> - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.<br/><br/></p><p> - Recommend to have someone with Adobe certification (Professional / Expert).<br/><br/></p><p> - Experience in test-driven development (TDD), integration testing, and end-to-end testing using Junit, Mockito, RestAssured, etc.<br/><br/></p><p> - Experience with Continuous Integration Delivery models such as Azure DevOps, including Git, CI/CD pipelines and IaC.<br/><br/> <b>Good to Have Skills : </b><br/><br/></p><p> - Demonstrable understanding of infrastructure and application security management, in the context of developing and operating large-scale multi-tenant systems.<br/><br/></p><p> - Broad knowledge of contemporary technologies and frameworks blended with experience of working with relevant ones (RESTful web services, database).</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
