<p><p><b>Job Title : </b> Lead Software Engineer Mainframe & Distributed Systems.<br/><br/><b>Location : </b> Hyderabad.<br/><br/><b>Experience : </b> 6+ Years.<br/><br/><b>Employment Type : </b> Description : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer with strong expertise in both Mainframe and Distributed Development.</p><p><br/></p><p>The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading multiple Scrum teams, managing cross-location delivery, and handling large-scale account conversion projects.</p><p><br/></p><p>This role requires a mix of technical depth, leadership ability, and strong communication skills to work effectively with distributed teams and stakeholders.</p><p><br/></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>Team Leadership & Delivery :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Manage and lead 24 Scrum teams across multiple locations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Drive Agile ceremonies, ensure sprint commitments, and oversee overall project delivery.<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to team & Distributed Development : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Work hands-on and guide teams in Mainframe (COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2) and Distributed systems (Java, APIs, JSON, Microservices, Cloud environments).<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure smooth integration between legacy mainframe systems and modern distributed platforms.<br/><br/></p><p>- Define and review design, coding, and testing standards across both technology Conversion Projects : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Lead large-scale account conversion/migration initiatives from legacy systems to modern platforms.<br/><br/></p><p>- Define data mapping strategies, handle large COBOL data structures, and ensure seamless integration with JSON-based APIs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Partner with business stakeholders to minimize risks during & Cross-Location Management : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Manage team expectations across geographies and time zones.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and senior leadership for smooth execution of programs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Maintain clear communication and proactive risk Skills & Experience :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>6+ years of IT experience with a blend of Mainframe and Distributed application development.</p><p><br/></p><p>Strong hands-on knowledge of : </p><p><br/></p><p>- Mainframe : COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM.<br/><br/></p><p>- Distributed Systems : Java, REST APIs, JSON, Microservices.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Proven track record of managing 2 - 4 Scrum teams for at least 35 years.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience working on large-scale Account Conversions/Migrations involving COBOL data structures and JSON integration.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Ability to manage multi-location teams and drive consistent delivery standards.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps to Have :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Exposure to Cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data platforms.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, or similar tools.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Financial services / Banking domain experience (especially account migration/conversion Company Profile : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>At IntraEdge Inc, we believe in a growth mindset - we encourage our teams to not only excel in their domain but also to cross-train across technologies, take on new challenges, and expand into areas beyond their current scope.</p><p>Many of our team members have grown into leadership roles by taking initiative and stepping outside their comfort zones.</p><p>Founded in 2005, weve grown from a 5-member team to over 1800+ professionals, delivering T&M and fixed-scope solutions to Fortune clients across banking, telecom, healthcare, and education.</p><p>In addition, we Run & Maintain environments for our clients.</p><p>We also run niche ventures like The Academian (focused on education) and our in-house cybersecurity firm Truyo that allows our workforce to expand and extend knowledge into these domains.</p><p>Our Benefits and Policies : Flexible work, Comprehensive benefits, and even parental insurance coverageand you have got an environment that nurtures both career and personal growth.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
