As an IMS DBA System Administrator, you will leverage extensive expertise in managing and optimizing IBM Information Management System (IMS) mainframe databases.
Your primary responsibilities include ensuring database availability, integrity, and performance through advanced backup and recovery procedures, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
Key duties involve designing IMS database structures (DBDs, PSBs, ACBs), maintaining robust database security, collaborating with developers to deliver effective database solutions, and acting as the technical authority for complex database challenges.
