Job Title: Manual Test Engineer Key Responsibilities:Understand and analyze functional and business requirements for the Retail Banking Collections system.Design and execute manual test scenarios and test cases across all stages of the collections lifecycle, including:Early CollectionsLate CollectionsLegal CollectionsValidate end-to-end collections modules such as:Customer delinquency trackingAutomated collection triggers (e.g., SMS, Email)DPD (Days Past Due) bucket-wise segmentationPromise-to-Pay (PTP) capture, follow-up, and closure flowsAgent allocation, activity tracking, and escalation rulesPerform daily status reporting to stakeholders and test leads.Log, track, and retest defects using tools like JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and closure.Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and pre-production validation.Maintain detailed documentation including:Test case repositoryTest summary reportsTraceability matrixDefect logsParticipate in requirement walkthroughs and review meetings with business analysts, developers, and QA leads.Must-Have Skills:3–4 years of manual testing experience, with at least 1 year in the Retail Banking Collections domain.Strong understanding of:Early, Late, and Legal collections processesRegulatory compliance related to NPAs and recoveryAbility to write high-quality test scenarios and test cases aligned with business rules.Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Lifecycle.Experience in using JIRA for defect tracking and test cycle management.Good to Have:Basic knowledge or hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium or Playwright.Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.Exposure to SQL queries and basic data validation.Soft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team and under pressure to meet deadlines.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
