Create Technical work instructions for Mfg and Assembly of Rail component/Sub-assemblies & Shop support roleRequirements and skills: Mechanical/ Industrial engineering/ Automobile with 4-6 years of relevant experienceExperience working in Manufacturing plant & Shop support activitiesExperience in creating Technical instructions, SOP, and Best practicesWorking knowledge in Fabrication, Machining & Assembly processKnowledge of special processes & inspection methodsProficiency in MS Office applicationsExcellent drawing interpretation skills and good knowledge of the use of weld symbolsKnowledge of Painting methods is an added advantage.Basic knowledge of PLM Teamcenter, NX, FEAAbility to work with multiple stakeholders, accountability and schedule-orientedFlexible to work in the US time zone for effective team engagement (as needed)Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skillsResponsibilities:Able to clearly understand the problem definition/scope of workShould be able to create detailed step-by-step instructions on each process step (Manufacturing/Assembly).Should be able to engage with a cross-functional team of Design, Manufacturing, Quality (Internal and external)Co-ordination with onsite co-ordinators and Manufacturing engineers for inputs required to create instructionsCo-ordination and approval with Manufacturing engineers for buy-offRelease of documents for use on the shop floorSoft skills; Good in CommunicationGood analytical abilities Creativity and ingenuity Excellent work ethics Self-motivateOther skills set:Knowledge on NC programming is a added advantage
