<p><p><b>Responsibilities : </b></p><p><br/>- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using FastAPI and Django.<br/><br/></p><p>- Build and deploy microservices from scratch, ensuring reliability and performance.<br/><br/></p><p>- Decide and implement the right storage solutions (SQL vs.
NoSQL) depending on use case.<br/><br/></p><p>- Optimize server performance, focusing on low latency and high throughput.<br/><br/></p><p>- Implement monitoring, logging, and debugging strategies with industry-standard tools.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work with asynchronous programming and understand Pythons internals, including the GIL.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with frontend teams and contribute when needed (bonus if eager to explore frontend stacks).<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure clean, maintainable, and test-driven code with proper 3+ years of professional backend development experience with FastAPI and Django.</p><br/></p><p>- Proven experience building and scaling microservices architecture.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming and Python internals.<br/><br/></p><p>- Deep understanding of database design, including when to use relational vs.
non-relational DBs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience in server optimization, performance tuning, and profiling.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with monitoring and debugging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, ELK, etc.)<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.<br/><br/></p><p>- Willingness to occasionally contribute to frontend development.<br/><br/></p><p>- Must be a power user of Cursor/Claude Code or any other AI code helper.<br/><br/></p><p>- Willing to learn to building RAG and AI Agentic to Have : </b></p><p><br/>- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container tools.</p><br/></p><p>- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).<br/><br/></p><p>- Contributions to open-source or side projects showcasing backend expertise.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
