- This role ensures every project in the ERP system has a defined quality framework — including deliverable structure, review workflows, checklists, and document traceability — guaranteeing technical accuracy and consistency across all projects.
2.
Key Responsibilities
A.
QA/QC System Implementation
- Develop and maintain the QA/QC process workflow for MEP design and supervision projects.
- Coordinate with the Design Production Manager and MR to align project QA/QC procedures with ISO 9001 and company SOPs.
- Ensure every project is configured in ERP with defined QA/QC stages (Design → Review → Approval → Issue).
- Set up and maintain discipline-specific review checklists (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting, ELV, Infrastructure).
- Track NCRs, review comments, and corrective actions to ensure timely closure.
- Manage and update the Project QA/QC Register in ERP for traceability and audit readiness.
B.
Project Setup & Quality Planning
- Coordinate with Project Managers to define project QA/QC objectives, deliverables, and acceptance criteria at project initiation.
- Ensure each project’s scope, schedule, and deliverable breakdown is encoded into ERP for QA/QC tracking.
- Review and verify that project folders, transmittal templates, and file naming conventions follow Haida Green’s SOP.
- Develop Project Quality Plans (PQP) for large or key projects when required.
- Coordinate between Dubai and India teams to ensure uniform implementation of QA/QC templates and standards.
C.
Review & Verification Process
- Facilitate the first-level and second-level design reviews in coordination with discipline leads.
- Ensure all design deliverables undergo checklist-based QA/QC before external submission.
- Maintain a Design Review Log (with reviewer names, dates, comments, and revision status).
- Ensure every drawing and report issued externally is approved, signed-off, and transmitted through ERP.
- Identify design coordination gaps, recurring errors, and recommend preventive measures.
D.
ERP & Digital QA/QC Integration
- Work closely with the ERP development team to refine QA/QC-related modules, workflows, and templates.
- Ensure ERP supports the entire QA/QC lifecycle: design input → review comments → corrective action → closeout.
- Conduct audits of ERP data for completeness and accuracy (QA/QC forms, checklists, attachments).
- Provide training and guidance to design engineers on how to use QA/QC features in the ERP system.
- Suggest improvements to digital QA/QC dashboards and reporting formats.
E.
Internal Audit & Continual Improvement
- Support the internal audit team in verifying project compliance with SOPs and ISO standards.
- Compile NCR reports and trend analyses for management review meetings.
- Participate in root-cause analysis sessions and contribute to corrective/preventive action (CAPA) planning.
- Maintain the Lessons Learned Register for design quality improvements.
- Assist the Management Representative during external certification or surveillance audits.
