We are seeking a seasoned MES Deployment Project Manager to lead and manage Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementation projects across brownfield and greenfield environments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shopfloor processes, IT/OT integration, and stakeholder management, with hands-on experience in delivering MES solutions within the discrete manufacturing domain.
Experience working with global teams is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
-  Project Leadership:
-  Lead end-to-end MES deployment projects (brownfield and greenfield).
-  Conduct and facilitate discovery workshops to gather business and technical requirements.
-  Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in alignment with business objectives.
-  Budget & Delivery Management:
-  Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and cost control.
-  Ensure timely delivery of project milestones with high quality and compliance.
-  Stakeholder Engagement:
-  Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, OT,SAP, production, and external vendors.
-  Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
-  Work effectively with global teams across different time zones and cultures.
-  Technical Expertise:
-  Understand and map shopfloor processes to MES functionalities.
-  Oversee IT/OT integration activities and ensure seamless connectivity between MES and other systems (ERP, SCADA, PLCs, etc.).
-  Reporting & Tools:
-  Utilize tools such as MS Project for planning and tracking.
-  Leverage Power BI and Tableau for project and performance reporting.
-  Use DevOps for managing project workflows and documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
-  Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
-  Minimum 8+ years of experience in MES project management.
-  Proven track record of managing MES implementations in both brownfield and greenfield setups.
-  Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
-  Experience with IT/OT integration and industrial automation systems.
-  Experience working with global teams and managing cross-cultural communication.
-  Proficiency in project management and reporting tools: MS Project, Power BI, Tableau, Azure DevOps.
-  Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Certifications:
-  PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certifications.
-  MES platform certifications (e.G., Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, GE Proficy, etc.).
