Within just one year of inception, we have grown into a close-knit family of 250+ employees, each possessing rich field expertise.</p><br/><p>Metayb focuses on fostering seamless customer experiences, enhancing operational efficiency & deriving actionable insights.</p><br/><p>By harnessing the power of emerging tech Metayb aims to be the unparalleled choice for global customers, delivering strategic goals effectively within a digital first ecosystem of value creation.</p><br/><p>Our key areas of expertise lie in Digital Transformation, Data Science, SAP Implementation, Workflow Automation, Dashboarding, Visualization, Finance and Supply Chain services.</p><br/><p>We strongly aspire to venture into IOT, AI/ML & Virtual Reality.</p><br/><p>Metayb endeavours to be best-in class across digital solutions, infrastructure, and product engineering.</p><br/><p>If you are passionate about digital transformation, seek to work with cutting-edge technologies, and wish to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to excellence, Metayb is the place for you!.</p><br/><p><b>Job Responsibilities :</b></p><br/><p>As a Lead Data Scientist, you will influence by interacting within the Data Sciences team and with Product teams, perform within the scale and scope of your role by implementing solutions, and contribute to Data Sciences and Target's culture by modelling the culture.</p><br/><p>You'll get the opportunity to use your expertise in one or more of the following areas : machine learning, probability theory & statistics, optimization theory, Simulation, Econometrics, Deep Learning, Natural Language processing or computer vision.</p><br/><p>We will look to you to own design and implementation of an algorithmic solution (e., recommendation or forecasting algorithm), including data understanding, feature engineering, model development, validation and testing, and deployment to a production environment.</p><br/><p>You'll drive development of problem statements that capture the business considerations, define metrics/measurement to validate model performance, and drive feasibility study with data requirements and potential solutions approaches to be considered.</p><br/><p>You'll evaluate trade-offs of simple vs complex models/solutions in determining the right technique to employ for a business problem and develop and maintain a nuanced understanding of the data generated by the business, including fundamental limitations of the data and create a well-maintainable & tested codebase with relevant documentation.</p><br/><p>You'll not only stitch together basic data pipelines for a given problem and own design and implementation of individual components within Data Science/Tech applications, but also articulate the technical strategy, value of technology, and impact on the business.</p><br/><p>You will lead in identifying problem spaces and/or opportunity areas, develop & define problem statements, work through ambiguity & design long term sustainable solutions that'll benefit your team & overall business.</p><br/><p>You will collaborate with peers on their product and provide technical support, and document and present work to peers, and participate in code reviews and gain broader understanding of different components within the application.</p><br/><p>The exciting part of retail?

It is always changing.</p><br/><p><b>Skills : </b></p><br/><p>To succeed in this role, you will need a customer-first attitude, and enterprise mindset and the following capabilities and skills : </p><br/><p>- Bachelors degree, preferably in Computer Science, IT or other analytics discipline, or equivalent experience.</p><br/><p>- 6 8 years of professional experience or equivalent industry experience with prior experience handling a team.</p><br/><p>- Strong hands-on programming skills in Python, SQL, Hadoop/Hive.</p><br/><p>- Experience working with Azure/Microsoft Fabric based Data Science services.</p><br/><p>- Experience with Pyspark for Big data handling.</p><br/><p>- Experience in data wrangling & processing large data sets, including but not limited to cleaning and preparing data, querying data, and conducting exploratory analysis.</p><br/><p>- Strong analytical thinking skills.</p><br/><p>- Ability to creatively solve business problems and innovate new approaches.</p><br/><p>- Good knowledge and experience developing mathematical and statistical concepts, MILP, algorithms, and computational complexity.</p><br/><p>- Experience in developing optimization, simulation, and statistical models.</p><br/><p>- Self-driven, independent, & passionate about solving interesting and relevant real-world problems using data science.</p><br/><p>- Experience working with ambiguity, in a dynamic & challenging environment to drive long-term sustainable solutions.</p><br/><p>- Must have experience working in analytics in the FMCG/CPG domain.</p><br/><p>- Experience with Sales Forecasting, Market Mix Modelling, Multi-Touch Attribution, and other sales analytics techniques.</p><br/><p>- Good to have experience with Manufacturing Analytics.</p><br/><p>- Must have experience with Gen AI technologies, like LLMs, RAGs, Image and Video generation and Augmented Reality applications.</p><br/><p>- Experience handling teams of 5 6 members.</p><br/><p>- Proven hands-on experience developing metrics/scorecards, dashboards, and reports using Business Intelligence tools (e.

Domo, Tableau, and Power BI).</p><br/><p>- Experience using reporting, visualizations, and analytical tools to build insights, communicate findings, and deliver actionable business solutions to stakeholders.</p><br/><p>- Additional knowledge of Spark, Scala, R, Java is desired but not mandatory.</p><br/><p>- Effective written and verbal communication skills ability to understand, translate and present complex data solutions using clear, understandable reports and visualizations to business and technical audiences.</p><br/><p>- Experience working in the agile environment (stories, backlog refinement, etc.</p><br/><p>- Able to meet tight timelines, strong team player with ability to collaborate effectively across geographies/time zones and stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education.</p><br/><p><b>What's on Offer?
