Only shortlisted candidates will be :</b> Global Overview :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>MetLife is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to enhance our digital and AI transformation journey.</p><p><br/></p><p>This role is crucial in delivering high-quality software in an Agile environment by integrating test automation, leveraging Gen-AI toolsets, and ensuring rapid yet reliable Responsibilities Testing :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Adopt Agile methodologies in the software delivery lifecycle.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in the planning and documentation of test strategies and acceptance Automation & Execution :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Develop efficient test automation scripts following coding standards and best practices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Execute automated and manual test cases for new builds and regression testing.<br/><br/></p><p>- Maintain and review automation scripts, troubleshoot failures, and fix broken test Identification & Debugging :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Work with software engineers to identify defects and regressions in the codebase.<br/><br/></p><p>- Investigate, diagnose, repair complex bugs and manage bug reports & API Testing :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Validate application functionality through test automation frameworks and dashboards.<br/><br/></p><p>- Conduct API testing using tools like RestAssured, Postman, and KarateDSL.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform performance testing using JMeter and :</b> Bachelors degree in computer science or :</b></p><p><br/></p>- 3+ years in automation testing in financial services or technology domains.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong knowledge of test methodologies and automation frameworks.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in CI/CD, test-driven development, and Agile practices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, : </b>Business proficiency in English; Japanese language is a plus.</p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>Skills & Competencies :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>Test Automation :</b> Experience in Selenium, Appium, TOSCA, and & UI Testing :</b> Java, JavaScript, Python, GitHub, DS-Algo.</p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>API Testing :</b> RestAssured, Postman, & DevOps :</b> Azure DevOps Test Plan, Perfecto, SauceLabs, Testing :</b> JMeter, & Communication :</b> Ability to work in global teams with a can-do attitude.</p><p>This is a great opportunity to be part of MetLifes technology transformation journey.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
