D365 Techno Functional Consultant - F&O
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze finance-related business processes to identify gaps, opportunities for improvement, and automation possibilities.
- Align customer requirements with Dynamics D365 capabilities, leveraging out-of-the-box functionality or custom development where required.
- Manage Dynamics AX/D365 installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance, including Enterprise Portal, Workflow, AIF, Management Reporter configuration.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate functional needs into technical specifications and ensure compliance with Microsoft's release plans.
- Support integration projects, testing (system and end-user), issue analysis, and resolution during project lifecycles.
- Document processes, configurations, and technical specifications for long-term maintainability.
- Work with 3rd-party solution providers/ISVs for extensions or integrations.
- Monitor and maintain system health, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
- Stay updated on cloud computing concepts, Windows Server, and Active Directory to support infrastructure requirements.
Functional Skills
- ERP Expertise: Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance (AP, AR, Balance Sheet, Cashflow).
- Knowledge: Dynamics AX administration, configuration, and maintenance.
- Database Skills: SQL Server (ability to write basic SQL queries).
- Integration: Exposure to integration projects and understanding of .NET/MS SQL.
- Collaboration Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Teamwork: Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, collaborative environment.
Preferred Skills
-B.Tech preferred with 60% D365 technical knowledge and 40% Finance domain working knowledge
- 4+ years of experience with D365
- Specialization in one or more Finance modules
