Middleware Engineer

<p><p><b>Job Description :</b></p><p><br/></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Provide end-to-end support for enterprise applications such as Jira, GitHub, Jenkins, Tableau, JBoss, MicroStrategy, Web Methods, or similar platforms.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure smooth functioning and stability of middleware technologies and application/web servers.<br/><br/></p><p>- Manage incident and problem resolution while adhering to SLAs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proactively monitor applications, middleware components, and systems to identify performance issues.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and support teams to optimize middleware performance.<br/><br/></p><p>- Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.<br/><br/></p><p>- Administer Control-M for automation job management and scheduling.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure system security, scalability, and compliance with IT standards.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform root cause analysis and provide permanent fixes to recurring issues.<br/><br/></p><p>- Document processes, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles.<br/><br/><p><b>Core Skills & Requirements :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Strong administration expertise in Windows and Linux environments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in shell scripting and automation techniques.<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience with middleware technologies, application servers, and job schedulers (preferably Control-M).<br/><br/></p><p>- Working knowledge of databases, firewalls, load balancers, and networking fundamentals.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
