<p><p><b>Description : </b><br/><br/></p><p><br/>We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer to design and develop scalable Generative AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, FastAPI, and Test-Driven Development (TDD), along with hands-on experience in deploying AI-driven products in cloud-native : </b><br/><br/></p><p><br/>- Design, build, and optimize backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.<br/><br/></p><p><br/>- Work with software and ML engineers to design and deploy Agentic AI solutions.<br/><br/></p><p><br/>- Develop and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for development, staging, and production environments.<br/><br/></p><p><br/>- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment and release processes.<br/><br/></p><p><br/>- Inspect, debug, and optimize application code, APIs, and infrastructure configurations.<br/><br/></p><p><br/>- Implement strong testing practices using TDD and ensure high-quality, maintainable code.<br/><br/></p><p><br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize and enhance cloud-native development practices.<br/><br/></p><p><br/>- Continuously research, experiment, and introduce modern tools and techniques for backend and AI development.<br/><br/><b>Required Qualifications : </b><br/><br/></p><p><br/>- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.<br/><br/></p><p><br/>- 5 to 8 years of backend development experience, with strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI.<br/><br/></p><p><br/>- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including deployments, IAM, and monitoring.<br/><br/></p><p><br/>- Proven experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks.<br/><br/></p><p><br/>- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps principles, and IaC tools (Terraform, Cloud Build, etc.).<br/><br/></p><p><br/>- Experience integrating AI/ML models or APIs into production systems.<br/><br/></p><p><br/>- Good understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).<br/><br/></p><p><br/>- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.<br/><br/></p><p><br/>- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities with a product-focused mindset.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
