<p><p><b>Position : </b> Network Engineer<br/><br/><b>Experience : </b> 810 Years<br/><br/><b>Location : </b> Visakhapatnam, India<br/><br/><b>Shift Timings : </b> 6 : 00 PM to 3 : 00 AM<br/><br/><b>Job Summary : </b><br/><br/>We are seeking a highly experienced Network Engineer with 8-10 years of expertise in deploying, maintaining, and optimizing complex network infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep, hands-on understanding of SD-WAN technologies, with a proven track record in strategic implementation and migration.
This role requires a leader who can bridge technology and business goals, mentor team members, and ensure the resilience and security of our global network ecosystem.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Act as a subject matter expert in designing and implementing company-wide SD-WAN strategies across multiple industries.<br/><br/>- Design, deploy, and maintain robust network infrastructure, including wired and wireless networking, cybersecurity, firewalls, switches, and access points.<br/><br/>- Lead the deployment of migration strategies from legacy WAN to modern SD-WAN solutions.<br/><br/>- Create and maintain detailed high-level and low-level design documents, cut templates, and implementation plans.<br/><br/>- Build and configure on-premise and cloud-based controllers such as vManage, vSmart, and vBond.<br/><br/>- Resolve critical network incidents and troubleshoot complex issues across the infrastructure.<br/><br/>- Mentor and train other engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.<br/><br/>- Partner with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve long-range business goals and negotiate strategic partnerships.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Qualifications : </b><br/><br/>- 8-10 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.<br/><br/>- Expert knowledge of Ciscos SD-WAN solution and significant experience with Fortinet devices.<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, MPLS, IPSec tunnels, SSL, VPN, MFA, Radius, and public/private cloud environments.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with Fortinet solutions, including firewalls, switches, and access points.<br/><br/>- Experience in implementing best practices for Microsoft networks.<br/><br/>- Proficiency with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools.<br/><br/>- Proven ability to create comprehensive high-level and low-level design documents, implementation plans, and cut templates.<br/><br/>- Experience with FC, FCoE, and iSCSI is required.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
