This role will be pivotal in empowering business incubation teams to leverage Data Science and AI effectively, while ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and scalability across the organization.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Define and implement governance frameworks for Data Science / AI and MLOps on Databricks.<br/><br/></p><p>- Establish and maintain standards for data access, data handling, model lifecycle management, and auditability.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Design and document scalable processes for data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, deployment, and monitoring.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with cross-functional business & IT teams to align platform usage with business needs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Conduct enablement sessions, workshops, and create onboarding materials for platform users.<br/><br/></p><p>- Promote reuse of components, templates, and pipelines across teams.<br/><br/></p><p>- Drive automation of CI/CD pipelines for ML models using MLflow and other tools.<br/><br/></p><p>- Evaluate and integrate observability tools into the platform ecosystem.<br/><br/></p><p>- Foster a community of practice around Data Science & AI, engineering, and MLOps.<br/><br/><b>Technical Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Databricks (including MLflow, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog)<br/><br/></p><p>- Apache Spark<br/><br/></p><p>- Python and SQL<br/><br/></p><p>- CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub)</p><p><br/></p><p>- Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)<br/><br/></p><p>- Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform)<br/><br/></p><p>- Data & AI governance and security best practices<br/><br/></p><p>- Monitoring and observability tools for ML (e.g., Evidently, Prometheus, Grafana)<br/><br/><b>Soft Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Strong communication and stakeholder management<br/><br/></p><p>- Strategic thinking and problem-solving<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborative mindset and team leadership<br/><br/></p><p>- Proactive and self-driven with a continuous improvement mindset<br/><br/><b>Qualifications :</b><br/><br/>- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field<br/><br/></p><p>- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or MLOps roles<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience with Databricks and cloud-native data platforms<br/><br/></p><p>- Proven track record in establishing governance and scalable processes<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR)<br/><br/></p><p>- Certifications in Databricks, Azure, AWS, or related technologies (preferred)</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
